"I blame Reagan. He should have authorized a second pass." Never leave a live enemy behind you.

You’re right, Reagan should have authorized a second pass. :)
It’d be nice if someone in Europe would carry it to him now but probably not much hope for that and Zer0 is useless.

Col Muammar Gaddafi has warned that Europe runs the risk of turning "black" unless the EU pays Libya at least 5 billion (£4.1 billion) a year to block the arrival of illegal immigrants from Africa. From '01 to '09 Gaddafi was up front and center and apologizing while giving up nuclear secrets.
What has changed lately?

“Another opposition MP, Luigi de Magistris, accused the Libyan regime of keeping tens of thousands of African migrants in “concentration camps” in the desert.”
Fine, have Italy take them to a 5 star hotel in Rome.
As for the rest, Gaddafi is begging for a James Bond type

Since he was able to flim-flam the British into releasing the Lockerbie bomber he now thinks any threat he makes will be obeyed.

For the Libyan raid, the United States was denied overflight rights by France, Spain and Italy as well as the use of European continental bases, forcing the Air Force portion of the operation to be flown around France, Spain and through the Straits of Gibraltar, adding 1,300 miles (2,100 km) each way and requiring multiple aerial refueling.
The attack lasted about ten minutes. Several targets were hit and destroyed, but some civilian and diplomatic sites in Tripoli were struck as well, and the French embassy was reportedly only narrowly missed, when a number of bombs missed their intended targets.
Reagan warned that "if necessary, we shall do it again.
I have to wonder if France and others now have second thoughts about refusing the use of their air space? They went easy on Gaddafi 25 years ago, now that Reagan is not around he is up to his old tricks.

Sheeeesh. I misread the story. I thought he was talking about cutting off the oil again. If he is just continuing the centuries old trade of exporting folk for economic exploitation elsewhere, well, that's another issue for Europe to solve all by itself. Unless the exportees are VERY strong swimmers, I suggest we stay focused on the Rio Grande for now...

Seems Gaddafi has forgotten about the bomb that landed close enough to his tent to make him lose bowel control, maybe hes after an encore. He also lost a child in that deal... You'd think he'd have learned by now to shut his ancient pie hole...

But I don’t see why Gaddafi should solve Europe’s immigration problems. Why should he bother to stop the Africans from invading Europe? It makes no difference to him. Yeah, he’s a jerk, but there is no incentive for him to protect Europe from barbarian hordes. They should be doing that themselves.
