For me, believing in supernatural powers is a bit harder to take.

You probably haven’t thought enough about it. In thinking about the origins of the universe there will always come a point where you say about science “that just doesn’t make any sense.”

I have read many of Hawking's books and have been impressed how highly he thinks of himself and how little he thinks of God.
Never got the impression he ever believed in God but the opposite. He himself states that his philosophy is objectivism which is akin to atheism.

It would be helpful if someone came up with a true revelation in science or anything really that could be verified later via experiment. In your next post you mentioned M-Theory. That certainly qualifies, and with the SSC finally on-line in Europe, I suspect sooner rather than later (if the caliphate doesn´t order it taken down).
Though I think God speaks constantly - though softly - of the scientific method being utilized to discern His works.
In my view everything is manufactured.

Where did God come from? If hes been around forever, why not say gravity has?Gravity is a force proportional to the mass of two bodies and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. If there is no universe, there's no mass, and no distance; "gravity" is meaningless.

There is nothing in physics where you get something out of nothingness...
"In the beginning when God created* the heavens and the earth,..."
Where did God come from?

Well, you know more than me on this subject, because I only read his 1988 book, and its companion book.

My mother was in a wheelchair-Multiple Sclerosis. She eventually became unable to even feed herself,a complete invalid. She said that her illness was her cross to bear and offered her suffering up to God. She said the Rosary daily.

She said that her illness was her cross to bear and offered her suffering up to God. She said the Rosary daily. And it worked better than hating the World, I bet..

Drivel, sheesh!
Actually Mr. Repeal I think you mean, jeesh, instead of sheesh. Here in Holly weird a sheesh is, well, let's just say someone who resides firmly on the jutting pointy part of the fence.
Where do you sit? You made no reference to anything I posted concerning the wonderful and talented Mr. Hawking. So I don't know how to respond to your posting about me. I mean what is your position? Is it an uncomfortable one? Please speak about where you find yourself sitting? What's the beef, seriously? Make a critique at least, if I am wrong then I am wrong, and knowing why, and exactly where I went wrong can only help me to get back upon the path of enlightenment and truth, which you seem to be strolling along, street corner to street corner, light pole to light pole, in complete and utter bliss.
