Romney back in NH GOP spotlight
CNN - Political Ticker ^ | 2010-09-01 | Paul Steinhauser

(CNN) - Mitt Romney headlines the Republican Party of New Hampshire's convention later this month, the fourth time over the past two months that the past and possible future GOP presidential hopeful is helping out party officials in the crucial early primary state.

The former Massachusetts governor will serve as keynote speaker at the state party convention, being held September 25 in Concord. Romney's role was first reported by the New Hampshire Union Leader and confirmed by state party officials.

Romney was the main attraction at an August 5 fundraiser in New Hampshire to benefit the House Republican Victory PAC, which supports GOP candidates in the state. One week later he was listed as the "special guest" at an event in the Granite State for the Republican State Committee. Last week he attended a fundraiser in Boston for the Republican Party of New Hampshire.

Earlier this summer Romney donated $20,000 to the state GOP. According to a state party spokesman, Romney's contributed $30,000 since the beginning of this election cycle.

In a statement, state party chairman John H. Sununu said, "Governor Romney has been a strong supporter of the New Hampshire Republican Party and we are extremely appreciative of all the assistance he has given us through this critical election cycle."

$20,000 whole dollars?
McCain gave more to Sen. Brown during the Peoples' Seat Campaign
than did Romney (who just gave him political Herpes)

INCONVENIENT FACTOID OF THE DAY:

Terrible, proven-bad Gov. Romney, in another of his “hit and runs”
managed to even raise taxes on New Hampshire residents
while Gov. of Massachusetts. Yes its true. .... Believe it or not.

Mitt Romney’s parents were MEXICAN; Mitt Romney is therefore an “Anchor Baby” who is not a natural born citizen, and therefore is ineligible for the presidency.

Awww....

Leftovers AGAIN?

Don’t we have any Gingrich left? That wasn’t so greasy, and actually was pretty good when it was fresh.

I wonder why he thinks he will be any more palatable this time around? It's too bad when a person's ego is greater then their objectivity.

Both he and the Huckster ought to have learned a lesson from last time and understand the “mood” of the country.

We need a Pence/Ryan/Demint type this time or we very well may be doomed.

::::::::::::::

Notice that he did not CALL HIM a Republican! It would be good to see him win for the Congress as a “Republican” but he has a huge liberal millstone around his neck when it comes to the presidency.....called ROMNEY-CARE!!!

WHY MITT ROMNEY SHOULD NOT BE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
By Charles L. Wood, Author of "The Mormon Conspiracy"
The Mormon Conspiracy Website

http://mormonconspiracy.com/mormon-church-lds-conspiracy/2007/07/why-mitt-romney-should-not-be-president.html

The Mormon contingent working for Mitt Romney is in full force spreading its propaganda to convince voters from Iowa, New Hampshire and other early primary voting states that a person's faith should not be a factor in determining a person's fitness to become President of the United States. Several books have been written recently glorifying Mitt Romney as....

His win in New Hampshire would have as much meaning as Paul Tsongas’ win in New Hampshire and Tom Harkin’s win in Iowa.

Apparently there are lots of Mormon prophecies about Mormons heading a one world government "utopia" - starting with America.

So it's an obsession, a religious obsession, not something having to do with rational thought.

Hi there, Mojave,

Is that a photoshopped picture of Governor Palin with Mitt Romney?

OR is that a 'real' photograph of a 'real' event?

Do you seriously believe that Mitt Romney would accept the VP-slot on a SarahPalin~2012 ticket, or that she would ever offer it to him?

John Birch Society and Mormon Prophecies about the US Constitution

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2425050/posts

Note the words of Mormon Prophet Brigham Young:

"Will the Constitution be destroyed? No; it will be held inviolate by this people; and, as Joseph Smith said, 'The time will come when the destiny of the nation will hang upon a single thread. At that critical juncture, this people will step forth and save it from threatened destruction.' It will be so." (Journal of Discourses,7:15.) Young also made another "prophecy" about the same circumstances:

"Brethren and sisters, our friends wish to know our feelings towards the Government. I answer, they are first rate, and we will prove it too, as you will see if you only live long enough, for that we shall live to prove it is certain, and when the Constitution of the United States hangs, as it were, upon a single thread, they will have to call for the "Mormon" Elders to save it from utter destruction; and they will step forward and do it." (Journal of Discourses, 2:182.)

There is yet a third voice explaining this" prophecy," and that is the voice of Orson Hyde, a contemporary of Joseph Smiths because he was one of his Twelve Apostles, who wrote this, also quoted in Journal of Discourses:

"It is said that brother Joseph in his lifetime declared that the Elders of this Church should step forth at a particular time when the Constitution should be in danger, and rescue it, and save it. I believe he said something like this - that the time would come when the country would be in danger of an overthrow; and said he, If the Constitution be saved at all, it will be by the Elders of this Church. I believe this is about the language, as nearly as I can recollect it." (Journal of Discourses, 6:152) Does Vance Smith believe that this is a prophecy made by his Prophet that has yet to be fulfilled, and does he see the Birch Society in all of its endeavors striving to be the group to "step forward and do it" to save the Constitution in junction with the LDS Church? Is this why he is systematically removing longtime Birchers from leadership positions and replacing them with Mormons? Time will tell."

In a choice between Obama and Romney, the best course for conservatives would be Obama.
