If President Barack Obama made time to travel to southern Arizona, he'd realize the urgency of securing America's border, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Sunday.
"I'd love for the president to come and visit the border, unfortunately he hasn't seemed to have time to do so," McCain said on "Fox News Sunday." "If anybody hasn't seen what's happening south of our border, they have been oblivious to the terrible, terrible struggle that's down there."
"We've got to get our border secured," the senator declared.
(snip)
The senator slammed the lawsuit as another example of the disconnect between the beltway and everyday Americans who live along the nation's border.
"For the federal government to sue the state of Arizona because the federal govt hasn't carried out it's responsibility and the state of Arizona is trying to get its border secure, is really remarkable," McCain said.

Obama can’t go to Arizona because he would have to prove he is an American citizen which he is not.
To: rabscuttle385
There’s NO fool like an old fool there Juan McLame.
!00 years in the senate and what the hell has he done to stop illegals?
Zip, Nada.
In non election years he tried to push amnesty.

I want dear leader to go to the border in Arizona without any SS. Lets see if he believes his own drivel.

"...it's about getting rid of RINO/CINO trash. And to that end, Arizona conservatives should vote for anyone they please (or not at all), so long as they don't vote for McCain!"
EXACTLY.
If McCain wins, the 'Rats have their enabler and pal back in office where he can stab America in general, and conservatives in particular, right in the back which has always been his specialty.
If McCain loses, the 'Rats will have a 'Rat in that Senate seat, and the difference will be all but imperceptible. If anything, a freshly minted 'Rat will have less power and less seniority than does the traitor and scumbag McCain.
The fact is, the Libertarian candidate (Nolan) doesn't have much of a chance as I read it, but the bottom line remains the same:
Vote 'NO' to McCain by NO VOTES for McCain!
That corrupt turd has GOT to be flushed one way or the other!

Berlin Wall? That sounds like something right out of a Democrat's mouth. Yet you bash McCain when he has become a proponent for building the wall.
And you believe McCain? BWHAHAHHAAAA!!!!
Dirtboy, I've got some solid, prime real estate down in the Everglades I'll make you a great deal on, FReepmail me for details.
(Act now, and I'll enter you in the MKJ 'Brooklyn Bridge Sweepstakes', you don't wanna miss out on that do ya?)

As usual, the point sails right over your head. Rabs is bashing McCain on the border wall while promoting a Libertarian who is even worse than McCain on that issue.
It's call hypocrisy. Look it up in the dictionary if you are unfamiliar with the term.

McLame like far too many career politicians will change their core beliefs to get re-elected.
Once they get re-elected they seem to ignore whatever conversion they had.
McLame is a liar and a RINO.
And I thank him for his military serice. But I wouldn’t have a cup of coffee with the turd.

Nobody could be worse than McCain on the border fence issue, and border security. Nolan is opposed to the fence. The ‘Rat candidate most likely will be as well. McCain is worse because he flip flops even more than his pal John F’in Kerry, and his past statements have established that.
McCain cannot be trusted. Neither can the ‘Rat, neither can Nolan, but the ‘Rat and Nolan can at least be expected to be what they are, and not to pretend to be our friend or any sort of advocate for our security, or for securing our borders.
McCain is an effin’ liar, so your choice is to choose between a ‘Rat and a Libertarian open borders clown, or vote for the chameleon McCain and wait to see what ‘flavor of the week’ he serves up for you.
Hint: it ain’t chocolate.

I’d rather have him saying this than arrogantly slamming the Republican base for bigotry for not supporting amnesty. The public mood is moving away from the amnesty crowd and this is proof.
To: mkjessup
McCain has supported building the fence in 2008 and in this election, yet you think he is worse than Nolan who compares the border fence to the Berlin Wall?
Telling.

Almost election time, again. He`s got to convince people he`s real tough on illegal immigration, you know. lol

Benedict Arnold was also a war hero before he turned traitor. I strongly suspect that there would be people who would have made excuses and justifications in order to find some way to vote for him, had he remained in America, figured out how NOT to be executed for his treason, and then chose to run for public office.
Actually there are plenty of 'RATS and RINOS that would welcome ol' Benedict with open arms today, if the SOB was alive.

"...McCain when he has become a proponent for building the wall.Does the phrase, 'chump', mean anything? McCain is now, after decades, 'for' the wall. Yeah, like let him stall, make excuses, for the next ten to fifteen years and like a RINO get credit for being 'tough', with out actually getting the job done. ( I just don't get palavering over so called Republicans that tell us boobs about how hard they are fighting for x,y,z, while just the opposite happens. We saw this with the Bush/Hasteret/Lott regime that outspent LBJ, exposing the Republican establishment as the big gov, big tax liars, and establishing a new baseline from which the Democrats could step off of and further increase. You could say the purpose of Republicans is to define the new Democrat norm baseline. Basically, the GOP is the Democrats Step'n Fetch'its. )

A refresher splash in the memory cells for ya dirtboy:
""In the long term, if you alienate the Hispanics, youll pay a heavy price. By the way, I think the fence is least effective. But Ill build the G****mned fence if they want it!"
- U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, FEB. 2007
And I'm sure that you're convinced that what McStain said in 2007 no longer should be held against him, is that your position?
