McCain wants Obama to visit border (McCain admits U.S. has failed to secure border with Mexico)

If President Barack Obama made time to travel to southern Arizona, he'd realize the urgency of securing America's border, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Sunday.

"I'd love for the president to come and visit the border, unfortunately he hasn't seemed to have time to do so," McCain said on "Fox News Sunday." "If anybody hasn't seen what's happening south of our border, they have been oblivious to the terrible, terrible struggle that's down there."

"We've got to get our border secured," the senator declared.

(snip)

The senator slammed the lawsuit as another example of the disconnect between the beltway and everyday Americans who live along the nation's border.

"For the federal government to sue the state of Arizona because the federal govt hasn't carried out it's responsibility and the state of Arizona is trying to get its border secure, is really remarkable," McCain said.

At least we KNOW what to expect from a RAT.

Yeah, we've seen what the RATS have done with two years in full control of DC.

Yet you want to help keep them in power?

Do you mean that voting for McCain - the 'reach across the aisle - my friend' guy is going to be in favor of the Conservatives?

Have you been asleep & not noticed the damage that McCain has done to the Republican party?

In this case - the RAT is at least upfront - with no last minute stabbing in the back to contend with.

See FReeper Leisler’s superb post at #44.

Bottom line: McCain is a liar and cannot be trusted.

You want to trust him, go right ahead.

Once again, do you like the Dem agenda of the last two years? That’s what happens when they control Congress.

Who said I trust him? The point is, if the Dem agenda is gonna get derailed, it will take the GOP gaining control of Congress. That means the GOP has to hold onto the seats it has while still winning 11 others. Basic math that y'all simply refuse to grasp.

Anything that McCain has done pales in comparison to what Obama, Pelosi and Reid have done.

Instead Hayworth jumped in with his baggage

And McStain unleashing over 20 million dollars worth of attack ads, financed from his leftover general campaign funds from '08, compared to Hayworth's 2.5 million, and of course the Wonder Woman from Wasilla helped to dry up potential funds for Hayworth with her insipid mewlings about 'McCain is a REAL conservative' (gag-choke-puke), that had nothing to do with it right?

If McCain had attacked 0bama with the same effort and ferocity he attacked Hayworth with, he would be President right damn now.

And you want to reward that turncoat with another six years.

'TELLING'.

Tell us again how McCain losing to the Dem helps end Dem control of Congress.

The only brick wall I see are those who won't acknowledge that.

If McCain survives, he will immediately return to using the phrase “We are all gods children” when referring to illegals.

Amnesty will proceed at full speed.
...........
No he’ll go for the secure border and then go back to to “We are all gods children” when referring to illegals.

Trouble is this is still the death of republicans and the death of the republic because converting illegals to legals will make Texas Illinois California New York and Florida permanently democratic states from which the democrats can rule the rest of the country indefinitely. Needless to say from that position they can quickly weaken border controls to bring in more new illegals.

Got a better idea:

How about YOU tell us how McCain WINNING helps end Dem control of Congress?

Take all the time you want.

Face it, Hayworth was not the best choice in an anti-incumbent year. And that infomercial he made killed whatever chances he had.

And FWIW, I think there is no way McCain could have won in 2008 - the economy doomed him as it is now dooming Democrats. I do agree he could have hit Obama harder, but in the end it mattered for nothing.

Oh, and also, I would have rather Hayworth won. But my desire to see McCain lose does not extend to helping the Dems maintain control of Congress.

Now, if I were in AZ, I’d vote against McCain, if it saddled us with the devil himself!! Better that than McCain who pretends NOT to be the devil...the guy needs to be gone. Until we STOP voting for the likes of McCain, the GOP will NEVER give us anything better.

I am voting for the Libertarian. Never cast a vote for McCommunist, never plan to....

So you would rather vote to continue $164 billion A MONTH defect spending, and out of control Federal Regulatory regime and the stagnant economy produced by the Obama Democrats rather then ever have to vote for McCain? You would rather keep the Obama-Pelosie-Reid machine in power then ever have to vote for McCain?

That is not the rational thoughtful position of an adult mind, that is the deluded rantings of emotion drive petulant child.

Sorry but that position is pure stupidity. Yes, it would of been MUCH better if McCain had lost. He didn't. Now get over it.

When the house is on fire an adult mind concentrates on putting out the fire, it does not spend all it's time worrying about 1 cockroach in the basement.

This is just another idiotic political ploy to make people think there are opposite coins instead of just flip sides of the R/D coin.

Visiting the border would do nothing -— it’s not like Hussein would stand there long enough to see illegals running across or having shoot-outs.

All he ever gives any of the border “causes” or pro-secure folks is about 30 seconds - 30 minutes, if that. Maybe a few seconds less than McLettuce does.

Johnnie, you seem to have a convenient mafia-memory here, and have forgotten that for the eight years preceding Comrade 0bama's arrival at the White House, that the administration of one George W. Bush spent money like a drunken sailor, he never even found his freakin veto pen until 2006, and if anything it was the GOP that laid the foundation for the 'Rat takeover of Congress in '06, and McCain throwing the election to 0bama in '08, that brought us to this point. Don't hand us that crap about the GOP being fiscally responsible, compared to the 'Rats it is the difference between salmonella and botulism, both are poison, and both will make you deathly ill, and McStain is a political Typhoid Mary.

When the house is on fire an adult mind concentrates on putting out the fire, it does not spend all it's time worrying about 1 cockroach in the basement.

Get a clue Johnnie, that cockroach (McCain) in the basement just happens to be one of the ARSONISTS!

You’ve made your obligatory insults for the day, are you done?

It’s all we’ve come to expect from you. There is NO defense of John McCain. He will likely wind up head of the senate and we’ll get more of the same. Thanks to the likes of you.
