Obama's father was a former Muslim who later became a communist atheist. Obama's mother was also a communist atheist. He did not have a Christian experience in childhood.
He remained an atheist while in his mid 20s as a community organizer. He makes it clear in his autobiography that he joined Rev. Wright's church, not because he desired the gospel, but because it would help him in his career as a community organizer. In 2008, when Rev. Wright's church was no longer of use to his political career, he left the church, and denounced his pastor.
This reminds me of Stalin's Russia. Stalin was willing to throw his closest friends and advisors, as well as his family members, to the gulags, in order to hold on to power.
Oh! I never thought I would miss Jimmy Carter. At least, there is verifiable proof that Jimmy Carter was raised as a real Christian, as a child.

I really believe that BO just doesn’t care about religion. It has no meaning to him.
He went to Wright’s church for the connections it gave him to further himself and for nothing else. He has no belief in anyone other than himself.
Christian or muslim, makes no matter to him. He’d go with which ever gave him the best advantage for his own goals.
The main reasons why Obama joined Rev. Wright’s church was because of Black Liberation Theology (black power, reverse racism and anti white) and because it was good for political reasons especially for a young black man who wanted to rise in the field of politics.
Obama is not a Christian because he believes in abortions.

Second, carter was not a "real" Christian. She obviously doesn't understand the term. No real "Christian" can embrace homosexuality as a legitimate lifestyle, nor can any Christian ever allow the murder of undborn children. And both of these are fundamental platforms of demoRATs.
Atheism along with Social Justice beliefs have become required values to be considered for ANY leadership position within the Democrat party.
That's not to say that he might not be an atheist...he may well be. I suspect there are dozens (at least) of Congressmen and Governors who are agnostics or atheists and simply attend church for appearance's sake.
Obama is a sleeper Muslim.

Coulter is one smart cookie, but this pronouncement is a blinding flash of the obvious. Obama was conceived and raised by dedicated Marxists, atheists all. His mother in particular, but his maternal grandparents as well.
He was a Muslim for convenience while living with his step father in Indonesia, and later a “Christian” in a radical black liberation church because it was politically expedient to do so. Third generation Marxists don’t have much use for religion and surround themselves with fellow travelers.
His stand on abortion is horrific, but 0bama’s not a Christian because he’s stated that there is more than one way to heaven. Christians believe John 14:6, and 0 has told us that he does not.

At a minimum, Obama is simpatico with islam. Unrestrained he'd side with them every chance he got.

Obama not only supports abortions. When he was in the state senate, he opposed legislation that would save the lives of fully developed babies, that survived abortions.
He not only supports the abortion of fetuses that have not developed to fully-grown babies. He supports the killing of fully developed babies who are conceived after 9 months of pregnancy. How sick is that?
I believe he’s an athiest as well, but he identifies with the muslim culture or muslim politics, whatever you want to call the secular side of islam. If he believes in any god at all, it would be himself.
