I think he truly wants to draw a line in the sand. He’s tired of appeasement - if anything is done to anger Muslims they’ll go on a killing rampage. This was the main point being brought forth by a woman newsreader interviewing him a couple days ago (and by General Petraeus). We must not offend Muslims, but the same rule doesn’t apply to them. We allow them to do what they want - like build a Victory Mosque.
I’m not in favor of a Koran Burning - shades of Hitler! - but I certainly don’t favor giving in to Islamic threats either.
Well, it’s an interesting theory, but it’s totally unsupported by Christianity. I guess this guy doesn’t own a Bible. Plus, it isn’t going to work the way he wants at all.
Yes, I’m familiar with the “turn the other cheek” comment in the Bible, but does that mean we should just roll over, play dead and accept Islam?

I don’t think his intent is to hurt Muslims but to make a stand.
