REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. — Two days after hinting at her support for the Tea Party Express-backed Delaware Senate candidate, former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin officially endorsed Christine O'Donnell's GOP primary bid against Rep. Mike Castle Thursday.

Palin made the news during an unexpected call into Sean Hannity's radio program.

"Thanks @SarahPalinUSA for the last minute call in. Endorsement of Christine O'Donnell was an exclusive. Said she hadn't told Christine yet," wrote the conservative talk show host on his Twitter page.

O'Donnell then thanked Palin via tweet.

"@sarahpalinusa Thank you for support on @SeanHannity today!” she wrote. "Thank you for your clear confidence in my candidacy. Strong conservative women will take our country back."

Since her loss was guaranteed this morning, if a Palin endorsement led her to a win who would you credit?

Michael Medved cr@pped all over O’Donnell on yesterday’s show.

Called her a “loser.”

The most important:

Christine O'Donnell for Delaware

by Sarah Palin on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 4:27pm

The wave of positive change can really sweep across our land with the election of Constitutional Conservatives who promise to use common sense and rein in the federal government spending! Please support Christine O’Donnell in Delaware. She will support efforts for America’s energy security, patient-centered health care reform, cutting government waste, and letting the private sector thrive and prosper! We can’t afford “more of the same” in Washington. Christine will help usher in the real change we need to get America on the right track. Please visit her website at www.christine2010.com and follow her on Facebook and Twitter.

Medved is like Hewitt, always trying to shift the GOP to the left of center, both of them dislike Palin.

About as liberal as a state that would re-elect Joe Biden over and over and over.

O’Donnell is the anti-Castle. He is the perfect establishment type—”safe” in that no one expects anything from him but a pubbie vote for organizing the Senate. Then he’s free to vote his “constituency,” whoever THEY may happen to be. Let us hope that O’Donnell is able enough to make him take conservative positions he cannot back away from.

If there is a more leftist pubbie, he should be defeated as well.

Amazing how “conservatives” want change but they want to keep the same old jokers in power thinking that a majority is going to work wonders.

Michael Medved is a pro-amnesty RINO.

Conservatives who follow him are fools.

I saw Hewitt speak very highly of her this past year.

I don't listen to him, but I got the idea he really liked what she brought to the conservative movement in this one time they were together (he was on some kind of three person panel with her). He praised her in a fine way.

Do you have any examples of him NOT liking her?

I believe it's more of an effective timing strategy. Only four full days left between now and Tuesday morning.

Let's see what the Castle campaign does next.

He’s big time pro-amnesty and McCain.

The unique aspect of his show is that he only takes callers who disagree.

I’m not going to look for transcripts, but Hewitt is one of the most dedicated Romney true believers, that has even become one of the pro Mormon enablers, and he is no fan of Palin.
