GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The anti-Muslim leader of a tiny Florida church says he was lied to and is rethinking his decision to cancel burning Qurans to mark 9/11.
Pastor Terry Jones earlier Thursday had backed off his threat to burn the Quran after he said he was promised that a planned Islamic center and mosque would be moved away from New York's ground zero. Muslim leaders denied there was such a deal.
Later outside his church he said that the imam he thought he made the deal with "clearly, clearly lied to us" about moving the mosque.

I don’t think many people are getting what is going on even here.
This pastor is trying to stop the mosque that Bloomberg railroaded through to get financial data, TV rights in Islamic countries stock markets. There are trillions in Saudi, UAE, et al.
One guy with a flock of 50 has intolerant and backward Islam in a tizzy.
He has smoked out a lot of pro-Islamic sympathizers including Fox News which is over 7% owned by the Saudis. All the other TV networks have share ownership by the Saudi King’s nephew. Carl Ichan has taken over companies owning far less than 7%.

Hmmmm. It’s OK to burn the American flag, right? Our own people (Americans) do it and get away with it. I thought this was a free country.
How is the preacher a “nut?” He is trying to stop the 9/11 mosque. Who else is?
Your “friends” at Fox News are not as their largest individual shareholder is the Saudi King’s nephew. He also owns significant ownership stakes or billion $ deals with TW/CNN, ABC/Disney, GE/NBC/CNBC/MSNBC.
Wonder why TV is so pro-Islamic lately? ALL of it?
Do we have to buy them first before we burn them? Those clerks at the bookstore are always kind of snooty.

Well, it’s sloppy at the least. The Pastor did put up a big sign that said “Islam is of the Devil”, so unless he’s pro-Devil, they could call him “anti-Islam”, but I don’t think they should have said “anti-Muslim”.
