A headline I just saw on Rollcall.com.
My thought is that it's good they are leaving Washington. That is less time for them to harm the country.

They need more time to register felons, pets and dead people to vote.

They should meet for 90 days per year and then go back home.

If Americans have to share the wealth, there's no reason why the Obomas can't share the vacation time.
Gee. I wish my husband could just take a few weeks off anytime he feels like it. Unfortunately, he's a tax slave and can't do that. He has to work to pay for Washington's vacations instead (and free hand outs for their lazy supporters).
Only in the U.S.S.A.

They should pack it in now...
And not go back until January.

Congressional vacations and gridlock is always good for the citizens.
To: jdietz
Not only should they leave, but don’t bother to come back.

They will be back for the “lame duck” session with 50 or 60 Dims that will have lost their seats. They will cram through all sorts of toxic crap. Count on it.

That would guarantee the sunsetting of the Bush tax cuts and no provisions for any relief to the poor. Everyone's taxes would go up! A great issue for the Republicans to work with, if they have a pair.

I hope they don’t come back. I’ve told you before they are at their best when they are not there at all.
