Punishing Dems who voted 'no' on health care

In a year in which Democrats are struggling to hold their majorities in Congress, organized labor and progressive groups such as Democracy for America have already waged one titanic effort to defeat a Democratic incumbent, spending millions of dollars in an effort to oust Sen. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas. But challenger Bill Halter fell short in a June 8 runoff.

On Tuesday, the progressives try again in the Massachusetts Democratic primary where their challenger, Mac D’Alessandro, is trying to boot Rep. Stephen Lynch, one of the 34 House Democrats to vote against President Obama’s health care bill.

It’s one of the rare ideological battles in the Democratic Party in a primary season in which Republican Establishment candidates have been trying to stave off conservative Tea Party challenges from Alaska to Delaware.

Americans HATE ObamaCare by huge polling margins.

“Progressive” is the Regime Media term for totalitarian.

It ain’t going to happen. Southie is fairly conservative for Massachusetts standards. Scott Brown won big here. Lynch is by far the most conservative of the delegation (other than Brown), but that’s not saying much.

>> “one of the 34 House Democrats to vote against President Obama’s health care bill.”

A ruse, a calculation - they’re all Probama. They all deserve to be expelled from their respective office of representation.

wing, you can see that the people on this thread are ignorant. They actually think an option is to replace Lynch with a RINO or somebody other than that Socialist that is primarying him.

(hint to you knuckleheads: do a quick study of what district Lynch represents. = No republicans live in his district.)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Lynch_(politician)

“Lynch is challenged in the 2010 Democratic primary by Mac D’Alessandro, New England Political Director of SEIU.[8] Polling has indicated[9] that Lynch is vulnerable to such a challenge.

On September 6, 2010, the Boston Globe endorsed challenger Mac D’Alessandro.Lynch received a 25% pro-choice score from NARAL in 2006.”
