I remember that. That was about the timeframe that I adopted a new tagline- "What we need is a white, male, heterosexual Secretary of State." It was killed by an A.M.
ROFLOL. Give him one of those patented salutes for me.
“I had a call yesterday and again today from the GOP Senatorial Committee wanting donation. In fact they said we have checked our records and see you did not complete your pledge from 18 months ago. Well guess what, after the way they are about to let Christine O’Donnell swing in the win and just let Coons have the seat..they are never getting one more cent. What a bunch of s&*¢heads!”
I am glad you gave them a piece of your mind. I wouldn’t give the NRSC a thin dime. Cornyn desperately needs to be primaried in TX. Texas is way too conservative for his kind.
Karl Rove will be guesting for Keith Overbite now (and his tremendous audience of 8), not Rush. Way to move up the food chain, Rove!
They can’t help but disappoint. The best of them will have so many forces arrayed against them, they can’t hope to accomplish much. Reagan was the best president of my lifetime, but he was able to put a mere dent in the mess. He tapped the brakes. The rest of them have either coasted, or stepped on the gas.
Yup... exactly right, fantom.
I’m not a big fan of third parties after what Ross Perot did. We have a perfectly good party all set up and running right now. We just need to populate it with conservatives and displace the RINOs who are there. As I understand it, the party organization all starts from the bottom at the “Precinct Committeeman” position which is where the real power lies. The GOP is not run by hereditary rulers but by leaders who are voted into their positions. They can just as easily be voted out and replaced by true conservatives. We can remove the Michael Steeles and Karl Roves if we’re willing to make the effort.
Yes, I agree... That was a last choice is things can not be changed within the Republican Party. When I look at the statements coming out today from NRSC, and Rove, it almost seems as if a third party is the only option.
Well, not really, we can always get rid of the stupid GOP folks, but it is really hard to remove the entrenched GOP elitists - you know, those that think they know what is best for the party (they don’t care about the Country).
If these clowns continue to be respected and in charge, then there will be little choice.
I saw this exchange between Hannity and Rove.
Wow...I’ve never seen Rove be so emotional!
If you want my opinion...which doesn’t amount to much...lol...
it’s that, given the RNSC’s response, and Rove’s analysis...emphasis on “anal”...
the beltway Republicans are in a twitter over this.
It was just two weeks ago that Alaska sent their legacy Senator home.
I’ve been listening to him much more lately. I think he’s maturing.
Rove built his majority on “electable” RINOs and has a long history of refusing to back conservatives that upset his chosen RINOs in the primaries. This is nothing new.
It will be interesting to see if Rush is going to be a Rove apologist tomorrow.
Rush will trash Rove on Wednesday. As he well deserves.
I think Sean was stunned by Rove’s comments tonight.
It was amazing and of course was mentioned by Stephie when he interviewed O’Donnell this morning on Good Morning America. He had to have known it would be picked up by the MSM so I question his motives. Seems like only yesterday he was labeled the magnificent bast*rd and now it’s simply a bast*rd by most freepers. I’m not so anxious to join the chorus.... yet.
If he doesn’t know, then he’s not as smart and cunning as he advertises.
Which I don’t believe. So yea, he knew, he’s just working for the good-ol-boys club. In Alaska they called themselves the CBC (Corrupt Bastards Club).
BTTT
During the 2000 Presidential primaries, Bush actually told a radio host that asked about the Constitutionality of the Dept of Education, Agriculture etc, and if he would pursue policies to eliminate them. Bush answered then “that battle is over, we lost”...paraphrasing of course. He was and is a big govt, Progressive Rino. Rove is/was the same. Whenever someone would criticize the deficits, his defenders would cite the spending on the war, the need to deficit spend to rebuild the economy after 9-11. In truth, he had a history of growing govt from Texas which he carried to the nation. It is no surprise to me that what the left called his puppetmaster, is a similar type.
Rove was absolutely adored here till the bitter end by the Bots.
He could do no wrong ever.
Now some of those same folks are pleading for unity in the wake of Rove’s petulance.
Geezuss.
Perino was a Palin basher from early on though she had muted of late.
This should be of no surprise.
She is hot though.
