I just finished watching Karl Rove trashing GOP Senate primary winner Christine O’Donnell. It was on Sean Hannity’s FNC show. Might as well have been Olbermann on MSNBC. The establishment Beltway strategist couldn’t even bother with an obligatory word of congratulations for O’Donnell. He criticized her “character” and “rectitude” and claimed she hadn’t answered questions about her financial woes. She did so here. Rove mocked her security concerns as “nutty.” Yet, her concerns have been more than justified. See here (second video clip).

Rove came across as an effete sore loser instead of the supposedly brilliant and grounded GOP strategist that he’s supposed to be. Expect more Washington Republicans to start sounding like Tea Party-bashing libs as their entrenched incumbent friends go down. (Hot Air has the Rove/Hannity video.)

I have been calling Cornyn all morning. Shocking! you have to leave a message. Washington number is 1-202-224-2934 his North Texas number is 972-239-1310. Please let him know what you think.

Make no mistake, O'Donnell will receive the money she needs to run a campaign. If the NRSC and RNC choose to bail on O'Donnell, the money that she gets from conservatives will come at the expense of donations to the Republican party.

Here’s my lates email to the RNC...

As a lifelong Republican I am dismayed and disgusted by the comments coming out of RNC and NRSC staffers. You obviously don’t have a clue as to the level of anger in the heartland about moderate, ‘go-along’ policies the GOP has been pursuing for years.

We are in a fight for the soul of America, a fight you seem unprepared to fight. To that end I will be contributing directly to conservative candidates and not the party until you join the fight. The Washington elite’s reaction to the O’Donnell win last night was shameful, yet revealing. It seems you are all about holding on to personal power and not principles.

We are not kooks or fringe thinkers. We are people who love our country and respect the Constitution; we are successful business people, community leaders, productive tax payers. Perhaps it is time you got out your of your limousines and private planes and spend some time among real Americans. There is a tsunami coming and you can either grab a surf board and ride it or drown with all of the others

the GOP circular firing squad needs to stop- TODAY

I suggest O’Donnell prove her maturity and statesmanship ala Sarah Palin, and focus her ammunition on democrats, not whining RINOs

Rove had a hissy-fit on Hannity last night over O’Donnell’s win, exposing himself as a RINO adviser....conduct very unbecoming!!!

Thank you... Before we can take our country back, we need to take our Party back.

Please call and/or Email the GOP of Delaware to request they support O’Donnell. Even if you favored Castle, O’Donnell is our canidate and crucial for a Senate Majority.

Not in my case. I stopped giving to the RNC and started giving to individual candidates so long ago I can't even remember why I started doing it, or exactly when.

But it doesn't matter.

Our motto should be:

Millions for Conservative Candidates! Not one penny for the RNC!

...

(Let them go out and get real jobs.)

O’Donnell firing back at Rove IMMEDIATELY is what she should be doing. Or should she pull a BushRove and let herself continued to be smeared in order to appease the RINODEMS?

Don't underestimate them. Maybe they consider YOU to be the enemy.

No, don't tell him what you think of him.

Be polite, instead. When's he up for reelection?

O’Donnell should run with the anti-establishment theme and emphasize that she will work for the voters in Delaware and not be beholden to Obama, or the Republican establishment.

It appears the battle lines are drawn.

On one side, are Democrats and Republicans.

On the other side, is the Tea Party -- the American people.

“Thank you... Before we can take our country back, we need to take our Party back.”

I agree with that entirely. The idea, constantly propagated by the MSM, that the left is ‘moderate’ and the right extreme is outrageously inaccurate. The left has been progressively becoming more and more radically liberal, to the point at which they now have a communist/socialist as President, and have multiple Senators and Congressman who think Hugo Chavez is a good guy. Any Republican who sides with the left is not a moderate.
