(Reuters) - U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Thursday there is "no justification" for extending tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, saying the nation cannot afford the price tag.
Democrats largely back President Barack Obama's plan to extend lower taxes for middle and lower income groups only, but a small minority favor renewing tax cuts for all Americans, including the wealthiest three percent.
Republicans are insisting that high-income people be included in any tax-cut extensions. The lower tax rates date to the Republican administration of President George W. Bush.

Other than objective and repeatable economic truths, I see no reason for Nazi to view lower taxes for the wealthy as stimulative. You know that Nazi truly believes in equality before the law (as long as you are an identified victim of the white man’s racism and imperialism). Kiss my big white ass Nazi.
How does one “justify” any particular tax rate? By her logic, we should tax them 100%, because we can’t afford NOT to.
Nancy is the economic genius who said unemployment checks stimulate the economy - so of course the nation can “afford” to keep extending and issuing them

We see no further justification for her to remain Speaker of the House.
Justify a $800 billion Stimulus, but not to let the folks in the private sector who already have experience making jobs make more jobs, so bright...

I strongly support tax increases on the almost 50 percent of tax freeloaders. Everyone should pay income taxes except for those unable to work. I strongly support major changes to tax welfare (refundable tax credits). Most credits should be eliminated especially for those with no tax liability. For others, tax credits should be time limited.
The tax code encourages non work and tax evasion by tax freeloaders. This free lunch must end. It is a cancer increasing demand for government services while discouraging productive activity and reasonable payment for common goods.
Pelosi couln’t see George Washington if he were in front of her face kicking it in.

Once I heard Paul Harvey say that if we taxed al income over 50,000 at 100%. it would only be enough to run the federal gov’t for a few days. I doubt if that has changed except to adjust the figure for inflation.
