I hope someone sends this to a major national news station! It shows her arrogance, her anger, her total disregard for the citizen who is calmly trying to speak. She should be impeached (or whatever its called at the city council level)! If I lived there - I would start a re-call petition drive.....

I don’t live in the city of Vancouver proper, but close by. Like any large city, the residents are mostly libs, so I don’t expect her to get tossed. I believe this whole brouhaha is about light rail coming across the river from Portland. The libs want it, the conservatives don’t.
A lot of dysfunctionality in that City Council: 1) the tyrant ordering people to shut up and get out (reminiscent of the tyrant in the White House telling people to sit down and be quiet), 2) abdication of the Mayor’s moderation-of-the-meeting responsibilities as a subordinant elected official orders him around, 3) the quiet acquiescence of the rest of the Council with the exception of the lone Councilor who showing great restraint registered her point of order in a very calm and dispassionate way 4) and the total violation of the American most basic right to petition and disagree with elected officials.
I just think this disprespectful elected female needs meds for her PMS or for whatever caused her to behave in a way that she said was not normal for her.
Typical “ruling class” behavior. Their days are numbered.
Whoever runs in this city to dethrone these petty despots should constantly have this YouTube segment on all the way to election.
What are you trying to do? Improve her looks? :-)
The libs are most likely Portlanders who moved over the river to escape income taxes. I used to live in Washougal. Lovely place but the liberals (mostly ex-Californians) were to be avoided. I rarely ventured into Vancouver save to go to a Gustav's now and then.
