“It was her first solo political appearance in Iowa since campaigning in the state two years ago as the 2008 Republican nominee for vice president. And it marked the biggest Ronald Reagan Dinner in the event’s nine-year history.
“
The biggest crowd for this event didn’t want to be there, yeah right
Consider yourself lacerated, DNC Media apparatchik.
IOWA speech is great, Lot of slaps on lame stream media and some on GOP establishment, especially on Rove.
I never said it wasn’t a big crowd. Watch the C-Span feed when it’s rebroadcast. There were a bunch of country club GOP’ers in that group that didn’t respond at all.
Her speech was just fine. It was a speech. What did you expect, doves falling from heaven? 1-10, it was an 8. Like in ice skating, you don’t always get a 10. Sarah, herself, is always a 10 in my book, in EVERY way.
If lefty creep Joe Klein gives a bad grade to Sarah’s speech; it was probably a great speech.
I watched that speech and I can tell you that my impression was that she is NOT going to run. Her intent in that speech was to put O and his minions into perspective and on notice. Also she ripped into the pundits who have strayed from the fold by slamming the peoples choice like Rove did. She spanked the RINO group for trying to retain the establishment quid pro quo and did a great job of it.
In my opinion her intent was not to set up for a run in 2012 but to rein in the establishment pundits and get them to work for the conservative side rather then against it and remind them of what the Republican platform should be by pointing to Reagan.
