Bill Maher -- on whose former show, "Politically Incorrect," O'Donnell appeared repeatedly in the late 1990s -- showed a previously unaired clip from Oct. 29, 1999, on his current HBO program, "Real Time,":
O'DONNELL: I dabbled into witchcraft -- I never joined a coven. But I did, I did. ... I dabbled into witchcraft. I hung around people who were doing these things. I'm not making this stuff up. I know what they told me they do. [...]
One of my first dates with a witch was on a satanic altar, and I didn't know it. I mean, there's little blood there and stuff like that. ... We went to a movie and then had a midnight picnic on a satanic altar.
Maher said he will show a previously unaired clip every week until O'Donnell appears on his show. "It's like a hostage crisis," Maher said. "Every week you don't show up, I'm going to throw another body out."

I'm guessing it was probably *20* years ago, or more. The dabbling in witchcraft, I mean. When she said that on the show in 1999, she was referring to something that had happened much earlier.
Also, a lot of us have "dabbled" in something for a while when we were young and then gotten out of it when we realized it was dumb. It's not like COD was saying she was in favor of witchcraft!

My vices were drugs and alcohol and they were in my youth. I guessing she was talking about her youth as well.
It certainly wasn’t uncommon for people my age to get into all sorts of weirdness when we were teens and for some that included witchcraft.
One of the whitest kids I knew got into Navaho religious rites for a while.
Maher is a devout practitioner of Onanism.
The only thing leftists care about is destroying people they don’t like and taking with the least amount of personal effort any worldly thing that tempts their palette. Important things like jobs, lives, and freedom mean nothing to them. They are bitter monsters who exist primarily to torment and destroy the weakest victim they can find. They team up against slightly stronger victims and so on.
