“To think that I used to think this man would have made a good president......”

I thought that too, until I went to hear him speak after the Gulf war.

Total Rino. Pro affirmative action, etc.

Let’s face it. His apparent “appeal” was nothing more than the Republicans trotting out a token military black guy.

And we all wanted to believe, so we oculd prove we weren’t racist.

Same old, same old.

For that matter, is there any other reason Michael Steele is the head of the RNC?

“Obama should focus on governing”

And I should focus on brain surgery which I know nothing about.

Oh hell no! Powell is chained to Obama for life! We will not let him slink away! No separation, no divorce! You two light-skinned brothers work it out because Powell is no longer welcome on this side of town!

“Colin Powell is holding off on endorsing President Obama in the 2012 election, but said that he still views the president as a “transformational figure.””

Who?

"I will look at the needs of the country, the situation as I see it, and I will evaluate both candidates and see which one I think is best able to lead the country," Powell said

And the world will hold its breath in giddy anticipation.
Who will Colin Powell endorse? Who? WHO??

Zero needs an endorsement? He’s really screwed things up then. Of all the former SOS’s, VP, Presidents, only Powell, who holds no current office, is heard.

In other words, “I’m going to get as much mileage for Obama as I can out of my eventual endorsement of him.”
