Shortly after the health care reform bill was signed into law, the attorneys general of 20 states filed lawsuits challenging the individual mandate as exceeding Congress's powers. The above links to a page where you can download an mp3 - about 43MB - of a Federalist Society debate over the constitutionality of the individual mandate. I'm listening to it because I've been following the work of one participant, Randy Barnett, libertarian law professor at Boston University School of Law.

FR has some peculiar personalities.

Typically when you ask for something for nothing, you have to take what you can get. I also gave you the link, to the lecture you’re listening to.
