Saudi king meets top US, Canadian counter-terror officials

Saudi King Abdullah and security czar Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz have held talks with top intelligence and counter-terror officials from the United States and Canada, the SPA news agency reported.
John Brennan, assistant to US President Barack Obama for homeland security and counter-terrorism, discussed in Jeddah on Sunday "issues that concern the two countries" with King Abdullah, Deputy Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef and intelligence chief Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz, the state news agency said without elaborating.
Afterward, Brennan held talks with Saudi Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, the country's senior domestic security official for 35 years.

I have to hope the information was reliable and factual. Given that the source is SA, there is usually no reliable information...imho. If there were to be an attack and those perpetrating the attack were SA, it may be that the exchange was nothing more than, “We have no information.” But their intentions may be more of a reach for cover...imho. SA has done nothing, in their past, to stop the blaming of the U.S. of A. for every problem SA has (this is not my humble opinion, but a fact). Considering the meeting has been made public, I would conclude any useful information having been obtained was nil, but then considering this is the 0 administration, my conclusion would be the meeting was for cover.
I hate to think this way, but 0 and SA working together, does not fit the template....imho

This could be something. Abdul Aziz is very powerful and has been I’ll for a year seeking treatment abroad. For him to travel this far for a meeting tells me something is up.
