Very few movies bring me to tears, but “Anne Frank: The Whole Story” really got to me.

I hate those Nazi bastards.

Hmmm - sounds a bit fishy to me. You would think that such things would have been found a long time ago ...

Yeah, that struck me as weird too.

After all this while, probably they are forgeries.

How could something have not been discovered already?

After all this time?

Of all the attics, certainly this one was thoroughly searched.

That’s the one with Ben Kingsley, right? That one got to me too. I thought it was excellent. Only The Boy in the Striped Pajamas had me bawling more—I could barely breathe during the ending of that one. Thank goodness I was watching it alone. I hate crying like that in front of people.

To me too....any find would be worth thousands or even millions of dollars. Wouldn’t they have combed every inch of that building years ago with all the sophisticated instruments available....

Sometimes I can watch these movies and sometimes it’s hard. Of course I read the books and took the tour of the house in Amsterdam.

I have an anger burning in me every day somewhere because of what they did to my good great-grandparents, among other relatives.

They aren’t saying they were found in the ‘attic’.

They are reporting these found in the father’s home when he returned from the camp.

The first line from the story:

More than 6,000 letters, photographs, and documents were recently found in the attic of the Frank family home.

"in the attic"

Hey, there’s a photo with Anne Frank next to Hillary Clinton. I guess she really was Jewish.

The linked article is very confusing the way it’s written, but my understand is that the Frank family home from which they fled to take up residence in the ‘attic’, *is* the Frank family home, right?

If someone finally got around to searching it after all these years seems rather suspicious, and it also seems suspicious that Mr. Otto Frank would store his writings, photographs and papers in that attic about his search for Anna in that attic rather than give it all to Ann Frank’s Foundation.

It also seems hard to believe that during his lifetime he didn’t recall he left photographs and papers behind in that attic.

A very interesting and historical find, if true.
