“Within the hour, Christy R. LittleFORD, 41, called Prince George’s County Police”

Maybe Christy needs to start driving little Fords instead of huge SUV’s, if she can’t even tell the difference between running over a little animal and person on a bike!

All we know is that she was found, still alive, at 5:30am. Doesn’t say when she was hit. Could have been at 8 or 9pm the night before, or even earlier.

A convenient excuse for a ‘hit and run’ on the driver’s part. Let’s hope the authorities see through this ?

The woman dragging the bike under the car thing, though. They didn’t mention if alcohol was involved. Who the heck keeps driving if they think an animal is under the car?

That could go terribly wrong in a hurry...

Those SUVs are smarter than most give them credit for. They know their enemies!

something about her death seems unfortunate for the Green Party...

But advantageous for the Democrat Party that needs every vote it can use, even former Green Party votes, against the surprise O'Donnell candidate.

I saw these 2 a$$holes blocking/causing traffic (a good 10 car build up behind them) today riding side by side on a single lane road (35 MPH), stupid helmets, stupid riding clothing, stupid smirks on there faces. Good thing I was going the other way... rush hour dumb a$$’s.

True enough, since blood rusts steel, and I for sure don’t want to degrade the truck.

One thing these people either forget or or too stubborn to admit is that the green lifestyle is not practical in the 21st century some of the time. Riding a bike instead of driving a car is admirable, but at 5:30 AM this time of year is not a good idea because it is dark out.

I used to ride a bike everywhere, mainly for exercise, not because I am a greenie. I stopped abruptly one day when I saw a guy run over by a logging truck. He was riding a bicycle and fell over in front of the truck and it ran over his head. His brains were lying out on the road and everyone that drove slowly past the scene was treated to this grisly site. I quit riding that day and have only been on a bicycle under careful conditions since then. Call me a coward but a bicycle is not compatible with motor vehicles.

She could have already fallen off her bike and been low in the road. Couild have been hit by a different car and was stumbling around away from the bike. Was she wearing any reflective gear? She did a dumb thing riding around in the dark and lost.

“Call me a coward but a bicycle is not compatible with motor vehicles.”

That’s not being a coward. That’s having a realistic view of reality and a healthy sense of self-preservation.
