Obama goes to church to hear a Muslim speaker!
WHY DOES THIS CHRISTIAN ALWAYS FLOCK TO HEAR THE MUSLIM MESSAGE?
by Brigitte de Maubec
Did Obama attend a Protestant church on Sunday because a pro-Palestinian Muslim was invited to speak?
(Sept. 20, 2010) Yesterday, on Sunday, September 19, 2010, the Obama family attended church for only the third time in a year. They went on foot to the St. Johns Episcopal Church situated across the Lafayette Park.
But what is widely not reported by the White House and the MSM is that on that particular Sunday in that particular church, Dr. Ziad Asali, M.D., a Muslim, founder and president of the American Task Force on Palestine, was the guest speaker. He was there to speak on the subject of Prospects of the two-state solution in the Middle-East.
According to the website of the American Task Force on Palestine, it is a non-profit, non-partisan organization based in Washington, DC. The organization describes itself as dedicated to advocating that it is in the American national interest to promote an end to the conflict in the Middle East through a negotiated agreement that provides for two states Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace and security.
Dr. Ziad J. Asali is described as a long-time activist on Middle East issues who has testified to both chambers of Congress about Palestinian interests, increased U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority, and Israels disproportionate use of force in Gaza. A retired physician, Asali received his early medical training at the American University of Beirut. He previously served as President of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) and Chairman of the American Committee on Jerusalem (ACJ), which he also co-founded He also served as the President of the Arab-American University Graduates (AAUG).

Glenn Beck said that was investigated and debunked.
Widely not reported by the White House and the MSM,expected.
Debunked? As in it was a regular church service?
I want to know these things. I debate liberals often, I don’t need to be coming out with rumors instead of fact.
Obviously, that Episcopal church is not Christian. Christian churches teach God’s Word at their worship services, not a political propaganda by a jihadist.
Isn’t it amazing that none of the networks, including Fox News, and none of the newspapers had this information in the story of the _resident finally going to church?
I wondered about this as well. The speaker wasn’t a guest speaker in the worship service. He would have spoken at a forum from about 10:00 to 11:00. Unless it can be shown that Obama was in the church for that hour, I have my doubts that he heard this speaker. I was all set to pass this story on to my friends and family, but I can’t find a definitive answer to the time the family was there.
I thought the reason he decided to go to church last Sunday was because the Gospel reading was about him. (The parable of the dishonest steward.)
“I thought the reason he decided to go to church last Sunday was because the Gospel reading was about him. (The parable of the dishonest steward.)”
Ok, that ‘xplains it. He usually goes to pray to himself.
The article says the Obama went to church to hear this Muslim speaker. It is true that Ziad Asali did speak at St. Johns this past Sunday. But Asali was part of a 10am Forum class. Obama attended a 9am worship service. The St. Johns rector spoke at the service Obama attended.
Well maybe Obama decided to hang around for the 10am class? No. Here is the pool report:
The first family left the church by the side door at 10.03am and walked slowly through the park back to the White House.
We need to make sure our facts are straight. Now. all of this does not change the fact that Obama is a marxist ideologue and probably by Muslim definition at least, an adherant to their ways.
Sounds like a political speech, not religious. Why is this in the "church"?
Why not bring someone in to advocate FREEDOM OF RELIGION (including the right to practice Christianity) in Saudi Arabia?
Where does Obama the phony Christian stand on that issue?
Footnote: Rev. Wright was at a Church gathering in Rochester, NY recently.
Wright's people said Wegmans (the BIG local supermarket chain) was selling tickets to the RELIGIOUS affair.
Wegmans said: Oh, no....This isn't about Religion...this is a political event.
It was a paid admission...min $25.
Are you telling me that there are people willing to PAY to hear “Rev” Wright talk?? Holy kielbasa Batman!
It was great when I was a kid but 60 years later...it's a mess.

In a previous thread there was a copy of the church bulletin taken from the church site and it was true.
