Looks like we’ll need the GOP to filibuster this one as well.
Is it time for a military coup yet?
This seems to have slipped under the radar. We should have heard the Republicans opposing this loud and clear. It certainly should have been loud enough for the U. S. public to pick up on and speak out against.
Have others been aware of this? Am I the only one to not have heard of it?
If those in DC are voting to give up our coastlines to the UN, it is indeed time to head up there with far more than pitchforks.
Found it yesterday on the Intel Hub, but today they are tweeting about it.
This is outrageous
Only took them 30 years !
I remember when Reagan shot it down.
Lesson in paying attention, these people never give up.
Caqllme cynical but where in the bill does it grant control to the UN?
0bama and the (D)istrict of (C)riminals are not the problem. It’s the abundance of morons that we have in this country who gave them the keys.
All debts contracted and engagements entered into, before the adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation.
This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding.
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.
The last days of any congressional term are always the most dangerous. We must be more vigilant than ever!
which drives American companies out of the Gulf, delays future drilling, increases dependency on foreign oil,
Those aren't "American" companies, they're "global" companies anyway.
And besides, if Boehner was really serious about reducing our dependence on foreign Oil,
he'd support efforts to upgrade our passenger-rail infrastructure which is much more energy efficient than either airline or highway travel.
I’m a little slow. Can you point out the verbiage in the bill that puts our coasts under the control of the UN? TIA
Uh yeah lets find a 19th century solution to our problems Troll.
Oh good Lord.
So a train full of people taking a week to cross the country is more efficient then a 4 hour flight?
If rail travel were more efficient, it would be cheaper. Which it is not.
What is needed is the removal of government impediments to energy development, not more government distortions of the market.
For the moment - please open the link and read the info - I will look to see if I can find the exact language in the bill.
