This Romney question needs to be answered, we aren’t doing this to get a Mitt Romney presidency.

Sick to death of the old boys club.

When they say Senate Republican Caucus, is that a meeting of all the Republicans in the Senate?

I get that, that is why I questioned your suggestion to give to his campaign.

Yes, a meeting of all Republican senators.

Definitely needs to break from Romney. Greta put him on the spot. She asked Sarah last night and there’s articles today about it!

Every politician is getting asked about 2012 and it’s a tiresome question.

Yes, and I believe the actual name is the Senate Republican Conference.

They don't think we can pick them all off in coming elections? Secret Ballot? Actions are the only evidence of their TRUE motives...We CAN get them all, quicker than they think...Elect Conservative confident women, who love this country and the principles of the Constitution...

No. DeMint has his reasons for putting Romney first. He also puts Palin second, which is not exactly a RINO move. I’m inclined to thoughtfully consider his prioritizing, instead of turning on DeMint reflexively out of a preconceived notion about Romney. But anti-Romney-bots are not easily dissuaded from anti-romeny-botism.

That he puts Palin second rather than fifth, you like, no????

DeMint has earned his conservative street cred, has he not? if you are willing to turn on a dime and criticize him, well, then NO ONE is ever, ever going to satisfy you.

Conservatives need to stop eating their own.

Oh, I'm sure he does. I'd like to hear the reasons why, seeing he wants conservative dollars to spend on 'conservative' candidates.

He also puts Palin second, which is not exactly a RINO move.

That's the problem: why is a true conservative backing a true RINO?

I’m inclined to thoughtfully consider his prioritizing, instead of turning on DeMint reflexively out of a preconceived notion about Romney. But anti-Romney-bots are not easily dissuaded from anti-romeny-botism.

I'm inclined to thank God that he clued us in on his '12 support. I'm not turning against Jim the man, just his prez pick. This whole turn of events stinks of eventuality, just like the far-left rats shoved Zero down the throats of moderate rats.

Face it: Mitt has co-opted the Tea Party if DeMint is truly behind him. Thus, it was a wasted effort.

A real conservative wouldn't feed us to the RINOs.

Secret vote...no surprise, after all these are our elected officials and they don’t have to explain their positions or votes to us. They’d be delighted if they could vote secretly on everything! We need a list of the people in that meeting and then the constituents can call as demand they make public their votes, I bet it would be funny when they all claim (lies) to have voted to remove her...

DeMint is far more conservative, with the record to prove it, than any other well known potential candidate.

Yes, I agree. Except about the candidate part:

‘Greta asked Senator DeMint who he liked for president in 2012, after she had asked him about his possible run and received a firm, “no” from the senator.’

I know. It just craters me that after being ginsu’d and strangled in ‘08 with McCain, we’re going to have to die just as nastily again in ‘12 with Mitt.

But, hey, Cheers!

You couldn’t find it because you did not go back to the 16th.

VAN SUSTEREN: Any thoughts on who you think will be the nominee? I mean, this wild guessing, but it’s always sort of fun to — not who you support, but tell me your guess.

DEMINT: I’m not sure we know that person yet. I mean, but you know, I’m — I’ve always — I’ve been a fan of Mitt Romney for a long time. Sarah Palin I think is great. Newt Gingrich has got possibilities. I mean, I kind of want someone like Governor Christie, who tells it like it is, who’s got a lot of fight.
