Former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer said he will back Democrat Andrew Cuomo come November, but it sure didn’t sound like much of an endorsement.
“Everybody knows that behind the scenes that he’s the dirtiest, nastiest political player out there,” Spitzer said of Cuomo Thursday.

Client number nine should know dirty when he see it. He was about the dirtiest we’ve seen in NYS in a long time. This is good for Carl.
Cuomo is such a scuzzball-——as corrupt as they come-—making a show of cleaning up Albany in order to dupe the voters.
And get this: he was in campaign mode——shooting his mouth off about “cleaning up Albany”-——the very same day he attended the posh party held for tax cheat Charlie Rangel.
Cuomo knew he was walking on eggs——he took the subway from the party to hide from reporters, but he was caught flat-footed when reporters nailed him.
The Tea Party’s serial successes show American are sick of career politicians, insiders, and the crony-system-—all lining their pockets on the backs of taxpayers.
Paladino is a businessman, served as a Captain in the military, and is NOT an insider.
Wow! If that’s what people who support and endorse Cuomo think about him........
Based on the TV ads Andrew “Evil Eyes” Cuomo is running on Palladino, I’d have to agree. He - Andrew - must have learned a lot from his equally evil father Mario “the Gargoyle” Cuomo.
Palladino should attack Cuomo and ignore Cuomo’s attack ads.
Maybe they found out Hillary was "dirtier, and nastier" than they are.
The attack commercials against Paladino, have begun. Unfortunately, the GOP has a small advertising budget. My guess is they are saving it for October.
Cuomo, who had aspirations to be governor, investigated Spitzer for troopergate which contributed to Spitzer’s downfall.
I hear Paladino is getting bombarded with calls from people who are eager to donate.
So much so he cancelled a news conference to field the calls.
