Is Carl Paladino a Man Without Character? (Vanity)
The Fertile Mind of Lauren BaRecall | September 26, 2010 | Me

Posted on 09/26/2010 2:33:32 PM PDT by Lauren BaRecall

Carl Paladino committed the sin of adultery. How many commit the sin of fornication? Fornicators lack character, and this sin, as well as adultery, is among the big ones that's flushing America down the toilet.

Paladino fathered a child by his extra marital affair, but did not prevail against the mother by demanding she have an abortion. How many men have made that demand whether they were married to the woman, or were adulterers or fornicators? Paladino walked the pro life walk, and continues to do so. I would say that type of action demands character.

Paladino supports his child. Deadbeat dads are bereft of character.

By the grace of God, Paladino and his blessed forgiving wife have incorporated his child into their family. How many men, by divorce or otherwise, abandon their children in favor of a life elsewhere, or a new family? These are the men who have no character.

How is it that liberals have said that families come in all different kinds? Is this statement only a feel good bumper sticker in favor of homosexual marriage and adoption, or does it also apply to the Paladinos? If it doesn't, isn't it only one more hypocrisy of the left? (But what else is new.)

How is it that the Religious Right can condemn Carl Paladino for his sin, and not acknowledge God's redemptive work in his life? How can they preach salvation, and yet when they see a real life example of it - how this man has sinned, how he chose to take responsibility for its consequences, and how he and his wife are choosing life each and every day - they say, “I can't vote for Carl; he has no character?” If they can say that, then what they claim to believe has no meaning, and they have no mercy in them. They have much more in common with the woman who said, “Divide the child,” than they have with Jesus Christ.

For many years, the Republican elites have chosen RINO candidates for whom we “hold our noses,” and push the levers. In my opinion, one of the major reasons we haven't had quality candidates is due to the politics of personal destruction. People of character who have something in their respective pasts, for which they've atoned and have moved on, have been reluctant to come out and risk exposure. Now that it's necessary for the preservation of our country that we field solid conservative candidates, some of these individuals have come forward and put themselves on the line. The least we can do is be supportive of not only their candidacies, but also of their CONVERSIONS.

Carl Paladino is our candidate in the NYS Gubernatorial race. He's a man with a determination to clean up Albany and New York State politics. He is also a man with a Testimony.

It would do well for us to remember the old Biblical quote that finds its perfect application here: “Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone.”

I agree with you...

These “Carl forwarded some dirty joke so I’m going to vote for the liberal idiot who cause the housing meltdown” morons had better NEVER done anything wrong in their lives, and hope DEMOCRAT Cuomo never has too.

(key word - DEMOCRAT. Rememebr them? in other words lying scheming liberal socialist, God-hating, homo-loving, DEMOCRAT - but he might never have had an affair)

The "Religious Right" does what?

Hey, it's the Leftwingtards who condemn men and women for having children! They argue that unless you've had multiple abortions you're not fit for public office. You find someone who demands a dead baby you've got a Leftwingtard to deal with.

Anyone who knows Carl also knows that the child is now part of his family. He made amends/restitution/ whatever you want to call it with the girlfriend and his wife has accepted this girl as a daughter. He repented and his actions show that.

He is a father to her.

Again, while I won’t condone adultery, as a man thinks in his heart, so is he, and Jesus said that who ever is without sin should cast the first stone.

If absolute moral purity is a requirement for office, we should shut the entire government down right now.

Come to think of it......

Just remember the alternative is the man responsible for f’n up the economy while he was in charge of HUD. IOW, don’t be stupid over this issue. At this point of the game it’s either Palladino or Cuomo.

Please contact me if you’re interested in being added on or taken off the Carl Paladino for Governor ping list. This looks to be a fairly high volume ping list for a while, probably until the election.

By the dems reasoning, King David was unfit for office.....

There are those on the Religious Right who are condemning Carl for his past sin. I apologize for not qualifying my statement by saying “SOME on the Religious Right.”

Heck, I'M on the Religious Right, but there are SOME of them who would say that I'm going to burn in eternal hellfire for being a heretic.

I am more interested in stopping Obama. If people don’t stop trying to find a saint on our side, you will end up with communism.

I want the people we vote for to return to the Constitution.

Interesting, but do you plan on rolling this issue for the next 5 weeks up until election day?

We didn't start it, but it can't go unanswered when someone else does.

Yes, let’s vote for the abortion loving Cuomo, rather than pro life Paladino.

Let’s make it possible for more babies to be murdered NOW, because of what Carl did in his PAST.

Cuomo AND Gillibrand both deserve jail for what they did at HUD.

Fair enough.

If I’m not mistaken, Paladino is driven in part due to the recent loss of his son.
