Cuomo throws tea party gauntlet
Politico ^ | Sept. 27, 2010 | Ben Smith

Andrew Cuomo, betting that he's still running in a very blue state, offers a bit of a challenge to the Republican base:

"There are no places in New York today for Tea Party politics," he said today, per NY1's Josh Robin.

Please contact me if you’re interested in being added on or taken off the Carl Paladino for Governor ping list. This looks to be a fairly high volume ping list for a while, probably until the election.

Fine.

Bring it on, mr. nocojones.

Barron himself was not on hand, Robin tells me. Barron petitioned his way into the November gubernatorial election on what he’s calling the Freedom Party line to protest the lack of any candidates of color on the statewide Democratic ticket.

Good. That'll split the dem vote nicely.

If Prince Andrew had any guts, he'd be arranging a debate with Paladino rather than taking on the Tea Party Movement.

Whatta jerk.

That’s a really ‘extreme’ statement -— what happened to liberal tolerance and love of diversity???

Imagine the uproar if a prominent R. candidate in NY said “there are no places for X politics in New York state” referring to any of a long list of Democrat interest groups?

Cuomo’s message to New York: Scum-suckers of the left unite, you have nothing to lose but your minds and souls!!

Who knows, might take more than one election, but there could be victory in New York.
Like California, they are drowning in government employees, unions and people who get benefits from the government.
The whole thing is on borrowed time, and when reality bites down hard, firing of many government employees and the cut back of many benefits will be forced to take place.

You ought to get hold of his campaign people and rectify that.

Carl NEEDS downstate. If he’s perceived as ignoring them or taking them for granted, that’s really going to hurt him there.

Last I heard, his campaign had run out of signs and more have been ordered.

I believe you’re right about the Italian American vote and he CAN’T afford to neglect or ignore it.

Here’s a link to what I saw. They have printable window signs.

http://paladinoforthepeople.com/yardsigns.php

Due to the overwhelming demand we are currently all out of Lawn Signs. Brand new Paladino Edwards 2010 yard signs will be available Oct. 1 at your local Committee for Carl HQ. Contact info@paladinoforthepeople.com for more information. In the mean time please print out and hang a sign in your window. Let people know they’re in “CARL COUNTRY.”
