A highly sophisticated computer worm that has spread through Iran, Indonesia and India was built to destroy operations at one target: possibly Iran's Bushehr nuclear reactor.

Ya think?
Hmmm...
Perhaps a stupid question —
If the worm was targeted on Iran, and has propogated to Indonesia and India, does that raise any ‘interesting’ speculation about “strange bedfellows”??
Shhhhh. If this is true don’t tell Barry or he’ll shut it down so as not to rile up his Iranian friends.
Who cares, IT WORKED!
The Question IS: Will Iran a state sponser of terrorism retaliate.
Metting with Chicagos Calypso Louie and the NBPs is an eye opener.

Great point. It not only attacks Iran, it tells us who is cooperating with Iran.
What the heck are we doing letting Sieman's do business in the US if they are working for Iran? Don't the sanctions prevent this?
“”The problem is not Stuxnet. Stuxnet is history,” said Langner in an e-mail message. “The problem is the next generation of malware that will follow.””
This is the money line. I believe our electrical grids, plus who knows what else and whatever DoD systems are going to be turned off at will by China if we ever get uppity.
I believe that in the discussion of Stuxnet that China is given undeserved focus, while Germany, which likely took part in the operation, remains in the shadows. Certainly, the USA was not a part of this caper; why? because it was not leaked to the NY Times.
>>and according to screen shots of the plant posted by UPI, it uses the Windows-based Siemens PLC software targeted by Stuxnet.
Anybody stupid enough to use a Windows-based system for mission critical work deserves all the security headaches that go with it.
The intel I'm reading says it was a USB worm, not a network critter.
We may be getting a glimpse of how the next world war will be fought.
Nanzi...milf ????
Dude!?
My comment about china is because I think that it is they (in part or whole) who are active in exploring our utility/electrical/other grids and that if they ever need to make an object lesson, they are going to be able to make some big civil disorder with a flick of a switch.
Have read russia is active in this area as well.
It’s all about the $$$
That’s why USB devices are not allowed or usable on DoD sensitive systems.
Did ya read the definition?
Ok, got it now.
