You might know this already, but a lot of times the dvd can appear defective just because it is dirty. If you take a soft cloth and wipe the data side of the disk (only from the center out - not in a circle), often you can get it to work just fine. Even a thin layer of dust on the data side can throw the player out of whack.

Not necc. As a former canuck, the country doesnt necc follow the rule. For instance, I went back to my crappy hometown of Vancouver BC during the Olympics. I went to my local comic store and on DC/ Marvel comics there’s a price of 3.99 US/3.99 CAN.

There’s a sign behind the clerk that says “the price is NOT 3.99 but 4.99 due to inflation’ which is absolute rubbish because the price on the comic says so. And dont get me started with the national HST.
