ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police have taken a 24-year old registered sex offender from Kentucky into custody after he was found in a local motel room with missing 12-year old Albuquerque girl. Officers are investigating if the two met online.
The girl's family reported her missing to Albuquerque police on Sunday.
On Monday afternoon, some of the girls' friends contacted her family and told them the girl sent them text messages indicating she was at the Motel 6 at Coors and Iliff.
The man has a conviction in Kentucky for second-degree sexual assault against two victims who were 13 and 15-years old.

They just need to announce ahead of time when and where they will release him and at the scheduled time throw him out of a moving truck, buck naked with a target painted on his back.
In ABQ he'll probably be given an absurdly low bond. A recent cop shooter complained about his high bond and it was reduced from $250,000 cash only to $15,000 cash or surety by a replacement judge. It was again restored when the original judge returned to the bench. In the meantime TV news said that the already low $15,000 bond could be obtained by the shooter or his family signing a paper to make payments on the $15,000! They would not have to actually put up the full amount all at once.

Police said they found the seventh-grader in a hotel room with a man her family said is at least twice her age."I'm upset. I'm mad because she's only 12," Donna Quintana said. Quintana is the 12-year-old's aunt. She and the rest of the victim's family stood in the parking lot of the motel waiting to see the man taken into custody. The said they believe he is responsible for the young girl's disappearance.
"And then we found out that this guy had her and it was bad. It was bad. In my head I was saying, 'You.' I came over here and I wanted to kick his (expletive)," Quintana said.
and notice the girl sent text messages to her friends not her family, didn’t call the cops...
What were those messages? Boasts??

Agree 100% the sad part is taht far to many young girls allow this to happen,so much for sex education.

Second offense should be death row. Period.
If the sex offender is convicted and appeals to the USSC then he has her vote.
Don’t kill him.
Castrate him and tatoo “child molester” on his forehead.
After that, it’s simply a matter of letting justice run its course.
This would work as well.
