Vice President Joe Biden will visit Omaha this month to help raise money for Democrat Tom White, who is seeking to unseat Republican Rep. Lee Terry in Nebraska's 2nd House District.
White campaign spokesman Ian Russell confirmed Friday that Biden will be at the Field Club of Omaha on Sept. 30.
Russell said White, a state legislator from Omaha, looks forward to talking to Biden "about creating jobs and reducing the deficit."
Dave Boomer, campaign spokesman for Terry, said Biden's visit "verifies what we've been saying all along: that Tom White is another vote for the Obama agenda that will saddle the country with trillions and trillions of debt."
By the end of June, Terry had raised more than $1.3 million for his re-election bid, while White had raised more than $675,000.
...hope the good people of Omaha have auto insurance.....
Nasty things happen when this clown rolls into town
One thing you can say about Joe Biden is that he’s funnier than Colbert.
Yeah, Biden missed his calling.
You'd think Professor Michael “hockey stick” Mann might have walked across the campus from his “Mann made global warming” lab to pump up Joe's numbers. I guess not.
Step off, Joe. God love ya!
Maybe the Field Club is going to put on a $20 a plate dinner fundraiser for White? They might get a few people, at least some of the state Dem leaders.
The RATS have their stand up comedy for the night for sure
Is Biden really a right-winger posing as a Dhimmicrat?
'Republican VP headed to Omaha for white fundraiser'
Tom White is running a lot of attack ads on the TV. What he says he believes in is very conservative. The ads never mention (or even imply) his party affiliation. This might blow his cover.
I’ve been watching his ads. Why, he’s an anti-tax, small government, balanced budget conservative. That’s according to his ads. Ha.
(Hi from Neb City, Stan)
A caller on Rush’s show today said that only about 2 dozen people showed up for Biden’s gig this afternoon...wherever that was.
Sure the Dimturds will be able to fill up the joint with overpaid lawyers college profs and other professional do-gooders
