Pathetic. Disturbing. Unreal. It’s already totally unacceptable the state of New Jersey severely restricts residents concerning their 2nd Amendment rights, but now a New Jersey state legislator suggests – for $500 per year – the state would reconsider their opinion. They think they can generate tax revenue through the scheme.

I think $500/year is about right, for the privilege of not owning a gun.
$500 tax for every church, printing press, microphone or television camera.
$50 tax per bilbe (Korans are free)
$25 for every time you ask to see a search warrant.
$10,000 jury fee.
$1000 non-testifying fine. You still don't have to incriminate yourself, but now you just have to pay.
In order to belong to any left leaning organization, liberal-socialist, communist etc. you have to be at least half brain dead to begin with, so what else would you expect?
Things like this are just tools to keep the poor (and often that really means Blacks) in a subservient position. Democrats love this stuff.

Numerous God-given rights are listed in the Bill of Rights. If NJ charged $500 per person for exercising those rights each year, they could bring in thousands of dollars per person. I’m sure that Dems see nothing wrong with this dramatic expansion of the old poll tax idea.
How about $500 every time a politician talks. The state would have a surplus in about a week.
