California's largest public employees union has seized on charges that Meg Whitman knowingly hired an illegal immigrant as a housekeeper, funding a Spanish-language TV spot that calls the Republican nominee for governor a "woman of two faces."
The campaign ad seeks to damage Whitman's standing among Latino voters, a typically Democratic constituency in California that the billionaire and former eBay CEO has courted in her tight race against Democratic rival Jerry Brown.
"Whitman attacks undocumented workers to win votes, but an undocumented woman worked in her house for nine years," a narrator says in Spanish in the ad, launched by a campaign committee funded by the Service Employees International Union.
"Whitman says one thing in Spanish and something different when she speaks English. The true Whitman has no shame. She is a woman of two faces."
Housekeeper Nicky Diaz surfaced on Wednesday to claim that Whitman and her husband, Dr. Griff Harsh, knowingly employed her illegally for nine years and treated her poorly.
Whitman fiercely denies the charge, saying Diaz lied to the couple about her immigration status and was being manipulated by attorney Gloria Allred, a friend and supporter of Brown.

"There is plenty of evidence that this is a contrived, coordinated political stunt between Ms. Allred, the public employee unions funding Jerry Brown's campaign and the Brown campaign itself," Whitman spokesman Rob Stutzman said.
Brown's campaign has denied working with Allred, and a spokesman said they had no prior knowledge of Diaz.

I think it is clear that they want us to NOT HIRE IMMIGRANTS.
After all, why take the chance. If you only hire people who can show you valid birth certificates and citizenship papers, you don’t have the chance that 9 years later they will confess to being illegal and claim that you should have known they were breaking the law.
23.00 and NO TAX PAYMENTs - how do you get to do that? You are illegal and nobody puts you in jail for tax cheating. This is going to help Carly and Meg because people upset with cheats will come out to vote!!

Gloria Alred knows how to make faces and repeat what she has been told to say. She is a pirate and an actor. And the other woman has one big mouth. A scripted scene indeed.

If Meg Whitman gets beat by Brown for Governor—California can roll up the sidewalks.
They will have deserved everything tht happens to them.
Meg Whitman would be welcome here in Nevada where there is NO personal nor Corp income tax.
She would be a nice addition to the state- as a business person or as a politician.
