“The Bull Moose party got us Woodrow Wilson the progressive.”

A very good history lesson for GOPers and Tea Party members to remember.

Did you hear about Houston Votes registering 25,000 people and only 1793 of them being legit? It was turned over to the district attorney and the very next day the warehouse with all of the voting machines for Harris County burned to the ground..... such a coincidence, huh?

The libertarians gave Texas Ann Richards, Glass is trying to give Texas Bill White, losing our largest red state, just in time for redistricting and the 2012 election, what a strategy....

That’s probably a better idea (Glass in place of Cornyn).

If I was Glass, that’s what I would do. Right now, nobody knows her from Adam, but in a couple years time, she could get out there, let the people know who she is and what her views are, collect some cash and then slam Cornyn when he’s up for re-election. He needs to GO!

BTW, a bit off topic, but where the heck is Kay Bailey? I haven’t heard/seen a thing about her since she lost the primary.

Glass’s strict-constitutional message, coupled with her ability to deliver biting one-liners,. . .

Did you hear me use your "too big to fail" biting one liner on Trey Ware's show on KTSA this morning? Keep that great material coming and I'll make sure it gets an airing.

Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm Kathie Glass, and I appreciate your remarks.

I will be in a statewide televised debate with Bill White on October 19th in Austin. It will be broadcast by KLRU. It would be great if you could tune in and get your friends to, also.

Toward Liberty,

Kathie Glass

I appreciate your comments about running for senator. I know that they were made in good will. However, I will NEVER leave Texas. I am convinced that we are in a fight for America and that only a strong Texas can save America and further that only a strong leader can keep Texas strong.

I know that you cannot know what I know or what is in my heart, but I know that I am doing what I am supposed to be doing and that the results lay in other hands.

Thank you for your interesting comments.

Toward Liberty,

Kathie Glass

Actually, redistricting is done by the legislature and if they cannot get it done, it goes to the Legislative Redistricting Board made up of five statewide office holders (NOT the governor), all of whom are certain to be Republicans. I won't say that the governor has NO role, but it's not very large.

We need a senator who will never leave Texas.

One who will keep Texas in her heart and mind and not become one of the Washington establishment.

It’s hard to do that. Please at least think about it because of Cornyn doesn’t show more guts and conservatism, someone needs to run against him.

Thank you for the information. I appreciate your stance but can’t split my vote again. I am not willing to take any chance to allow Bill White to be governor and the votes you get will be taken away from the Republican running, therefore giving White a chance to be in charge.

Agreed - selfish move on her part. Why not run for something small to start with instead of peeling off votes from a very important election year with no chance of winning? And don’t Libertarians believe in open migration and pro-choice? Suddenly they are for closed borders?

Glass is trying to give Texas Bill White

It's good to hear from you.

Immediately going for the conspiracy theory, eh?

Let me get out of your way. Please, tell me more.

Without question it is, the libertarians gave Texas Ann Richards, just as they gave America Patty Murray, they even ran against Reagan (Glass was part of that anti-Reagan effort) it is part of what they do.

Oh, aye. I did. They used again as a bumper going into your second segment.

Thanks for the invite. Please stay tuned. For the most part, FreeRepublic is a great place.

If you don't like Perry...you're going to hate White. Besides being really liberal, he is an obnoxious person and crooked as a snake!

You should look into him before you go to the polls. He's Obama lite.

The Legislative Redistricting Board deals with state redistricting of the State House and Senate and has nothing to do with the Congressional redistricting, correct?
