DARPA Develops Helmet Of Obedience
Technofacisim Blog ^ | October 1st, 2010 | Technofacism Blog

It looks like our ever-diligent friends at DARPA have been busy creating a contingency plan for the OathKeeper movement. Thanks to a newly-developed pain modulator and behavior modification helmet, any US troops who decide they will obey the Constitution rather than the commands of the global puppet masters will now be getting some remote-controlled motivational persuasion.

Reminiscent of the “Collar of Obedience” from Star Trek, this new helmet according to it’s creator William J Tyler at Arizona State University, will be able to non-invasively produce all the same effects that are now possible only through deep surgical implants. Employing a form of targeted ultrasound technology, the “Helmet of Obedience” will be able to manipulate pain and motivational centers in the brain at a finer scale than even current magnetic stimulation.

It’s no mystery what agencies would be interested in this sort of technology and Tyler makes it painfully clear who his handlers are. According to Tyler, “We look forward to developing a close working relationship with DARPA and other Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Communities to bring some of these applications to fruition over the coming years depending on the most pressing needs of our country’s defense industries.”

I've checked SNOPES for this one and either they aren't aware of it or they haven't had time to check it out. I did find another article here:

http://science.dodlive.mil/2010/09/01/remote-control-of-brain-activity-using-ultrasound/

which seems to confirm the post in the Technofacism Blog. If they actually intend to equip American soldiers, or for that matter any other human being, with such devices this is truly a chilling development. I'd very much appreciate any FREEPER help in verifying the existence of this device.

I would think this would be grounds for many enlisted and officers to re-up or even accept this bullshit. This is not what they signed up for, to have a helmet that can give them pain if they don’t obey unlawful orders. Or even incredibly immoral, wrong, yet ‘lawful’ orders (if that’s what you want to call them).

I'm thinking they could use them on terrorists during interrogation instead of water-boarding.

But grunts are a little more cunning than DARPA realises. They might,,,,,,,, REMOVE THE HELMET. lol

One of the most fun jobs facing an NCO is making em keep their helmets on.

“I’m thinking they could use them on terrorists during interrogation instead of water-boarding.”

Probably. I will be more concerned when federal law enforcement gets them.

Which they will.

I can see very useful applications for this technology in terms of interrogations for our Jihadi friends. But the premise of the article, using it to brainwash our troops to violate the constitution is silly and insulting.

I'm thinking they could use them on terrorists during interrogation instead of water-boarding.

This is the most likely real use for it. Something that would convince them to talk without leaving marks.

You could do that with microwaves... imagine feeling portions of your flesh literally boiling.

The link, being that it's to "dodlive.mil", would appear to be an official military site, and is unlikely to be a hoax.

In the article at the link, among the applications listed is "Navigational Commands/Assistance" and "Behavioral Reinforcement", which strongly implies an application which involves using the technology for controlling and directing troops.

Why would we be surprised? One look at what we have allowed this federal government to become explains everything. Increasingly tyrannical, they no longer respect or fear U.S. citizens. We need to change that.
