Why would it blunt the RINOs?
They’ll gobble up all the money she raises for them (money that could instead be going directly to worthy candidates), and then they’ll try to slit her throat once they no longer have a use for her.

DeMint supported Romney, Christie is conservative enough for NJ and Pence is... Pence who? Your hatred for Palin is much more than just because she had a couple of bad interviews....do you think she should have stayed in the kitchen?

Think of it as moving into an abused and decaying old house, rolling up your sleeves and going room to room, shoring up walls and windows, throwing out lots of trash and making it something new and solid.

A good analogy!

You have a vivid imagination, son.

Look who is talking. You have ZERO understanding of what it takes to win elections against entrenched factions.

Your vote counts for one vote; and when you throw it away tilting at windmills, it counts for zilch.

I just call ‘em as I see ‘em.

Yeah, and your vision is just as poor as the 1st base umpire who blew that Tigers complete game call.

Palin was supposed to be a game changer for McCain.

She WAS. She saved McCain from a McGovern-like landslide to merely being defeated. Some conservatives stayed home because of McCain, and independents surged for the Obama campaign.

They were wiped out badly by 0bama.

Because of the independents. Obama's campaign was too much of a juggernaut for McCain to overcome no matter who his VP selection was.

Only Palin can fire up the conservative base.
Chris Christie, Scott Brown, and dozens of Tea Party candidates have proven that not JUST Palin can fire up the base.

And yes, Palin helped fire up the base for many candidates this cycle (unfortunately, including McCain) and she could do the same year round from the chair of the RNC.
She could do it again for dozens more candidates, including the GOP presidential nominee, instead of just for herself.

Which do you think would have the most impact?

Good point. I met with and had a 45min conversation with Hunter at a BBQ in 2008. The first 10 minutes into it I remembered why he didn’t get any votes during the primary

I don’t hate Sarah Palin.
It’s her cultists I have a problem with.

You and I disagree on what her strengths are.
I see someone who can raise money and fire up the base, but can’t win a debate or a national election.
To me, that says her best fit is at the RNC.
Apparently, you think these are qualifications for president.

There is an old saying that goes, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.” It looks as though McPalin has opted to join them instead of beating them.

Oh, I think she'll do both, quite well.

Votes "saved or created."

Palin did change the game for McCain.

But the Manchurian candidate would have none of that, and told us Obama was a decent man, and we have nothing to fear from an Obama Presidency.

He lost the election that very day. You could hear the air deflate from McLame’s campaign that very second.

If anything, people who voted for Palin made the difference between McLoser losing respectfully over losing by a landslide.

She was supposed to fail, but she didn’t. She energized the base like crazy.

And I saw that debate, Bite Me blew it bigtime. After all he was the almost 40 year Senator who blew the factcheck meter in that debate.

Palin held her own, under enormous pressure.

And let’s face it, she is the one who is making the takeover of the Congress by the GOP possible. Surely you don’t think Boehnor and McConnell are doing that? Or Michael Steele? Or Newt Gingrich, or Romney? Hucklechuckle?

No, it’s Palin. Her Facebook postings give Emmanuel and Obama diarrhea.Guess now Emmanuel is a “quitter” too.

And she would beat Obama like a bongo in 2012.

“This is her introduction to replace Steele soetime before January.”

And who has ever held Chairman of a national political party, then go on to hold national office?

(none that I can think of)

Pissant, you know all that stuff is BS about her stand on the issues.

LOST was related to a state issue and she has not stated her position on it nationally or how it relates to our sovereignty, but unfortunately you guys continuously take this out of context.

She has CLEARLY come out against amnesty, she does not support illegal immigration.

She does not support windfall profit taxes; she supports a fair system where the oil companies are both given a free reign and held accountable and making sure citizens are compensated.

When she's talking about global warming, she is talking about NATURALLY-OCCURRING global warming backed by scientific evidence, not anthropogenic, Algore, envirowacko global warming.

She only supported TARP initially AS most Republicans like Paul Ryan did in 2008 - however she opposes any future bailouts.

Give me a break with the McCain thing, will ya? How many times are you PDSers going to beat this horse to death?

No, common-sense conservatism isn't or doesn't sound like compassionate conservatism. What Sarah is doing is selling conservatism and making it more attractive to those who think conservatism means religious right-wing wackoism.

You’re taking me out of context.
I only said I don’t know because 0bama is f’ing up so bad he might even lose to Palin.
But she is the low water mark for Republican votes.

So yeah, it is within the realm of possibility that Palin could skate by in an election against 0bama.
But not Hillary. And that may be who we’re up against in 2012.
If 0bama sinks low enough that even Palin could be him, than I do not see him possibly getting the Democrat nomination in 2012.

ANd we already have historical documented fact that “can’t win on a presidential ticket” and against 0bama, no less.
That is why I stated that.

“If anything, Vice President is a dead end job, and Palin gladly accepted when McCain offered it.”

Tell that to TR, tell that to Truman, tell that to LBJ, tell that to Nixon, tell that to Bush 41, There are many other VP’s in our history that became President in their own right.....or do you consider all the above named “dead enders?” lololololol

How many party chairman in our nations history used that position as a stepping stone to the Presidency or for that matter any national elective office? Research that and get back to me will you!

Not marginalizing her? LOLOLOLOL

“....where she could best put her talents to work to do the most good.”

Eventual Republican Presidential nominee or not, Sarah is exactly where she needs to be in 2010, and doing yeoman service for the nation against our domestic enemies. So your real reason is?

“Palin can leverage any position into an opportunity, if she has the ability.”

Which is what she’s doing, despite any amature political amrchairing by the likes of me or you!

In displaying her leadership skills on a national level Sarah Palin has been keeping her own political council. So far her instincts seem right on.

Witness the vitrol spewed by the Left, the Dems, The biased media, supporters of other political candidates on the right, and a few women haters that shall remain un-named.....lolololol They are seeing the same things you and I see and they’re both angry and scared at the threat that she poses to their anti-American agenda.

Palins not perfect....she’s a human after all, and none of us are.....but the above named groups have told me (and you) who they fear most and who they must destroy at all costs.....that alone is good enough evidence for me to support her.

So apparently, you don't believe in coattails, huh?
You don't think if Palin runs, she won't affect other GOP candidates running, that she'll hog all the Tea Party support?

You just want Palin to go out there doing her thing and at the end of the day pat her on the head and tell her to run along.

And with that one simple sentance you’ve managed to succinctly morph BDS into PDS.....lololololol

Congradulations! You win the turkey!
