Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank on Sunday said conservative commentator Glenn Beck is dangerous.
Discussing his new book about Beck with Howard Kurtz on CNN's "Reliable Sources," Milbank said, "When a man is frequently talking about Hitler and Nazis, and then you see the Tea Party rally with the same quotations of Tea Parties and Nazis... you have to say, where does all this come from and why is it suddenly out in the open?"
This came moments after Milbank stated, "While you can't be blamed for any individual act, it is evidence that he is disseminating a very dangerous doctrine."
When Kurtz questioned him about whether or not he really believes this, Milbank responded, "I think it's been manifestly true that he's dangerous" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Knowledge is power, and Glenn Beck is giving people the resources to find the information so that they can educate themselves. THAT is why he’s dangerous.
Why not? I Maybe you and I couldn't get through all those books, because we only have a certain amount of time outside our jobs to do so. It is his JOB to read the books, in preparation for his show, so that's how he uses some of his 'work' time, and likely his off work time, as well. Also, some folks just read faster than others.
FWIW, I’ve averaged three books a week for 45 years.
Not all heavy stuff, by any means, but still a lot of books.
Conservatism is dangerous to liberals and their dangerous policies. I hope conservatism is so dangerous it kills liberalism before liberalism kills us.
What an odd coincidence because it's been manifestly true that this crop of socialist-progressive leftists and their head honcho community organizing Marxist Kenyan has been the most dangerous thing that has ever happened in and to the government of the United States of America as well!
IMO, the left is scared. They looked at Beck’s rally and were able to project. They have to try everything to discredit conservatives because of that fear, and not by a small bit, that projection.
Sorry, but I tend not to take seriously anything said by guys named “Dana”.
They paid their own way, brought their food and drink and were not compensated one dime for their time and efforts.
The communists and union thugs and 400 lefty groups, pay for the buses, give their subjects, food, drink, cash, signs and they can muster less than 20,000 idiots.
These few pigs generated a thousand times more trash than did the hundreds of thousands at Beck's rally.
Damn right that Beck is dangerous to the left.
