"Silent Parade" Vanity
vanity

My best friend left me a message requesting that call asap and ask her about the "Silent Parade" (her words). I called her back and was told the most amazing story especially here in Massachusetts.

Her town in located in central Massachusetts was having a parade on Sunday. Along with the local high school band, scouts, Veterans, firetrucks, antique cars, many politicians and new candidates joined in the parade.

As the local selectman and local officials walked down the street, they were greeted with waves and claps and hellos from the crowd.

When the Republican LtGovernor candidate, along with other Republican candidates running for election or re-election, walked down the street they were greeted with waves, claps, cheers, and a lot of "you've got my vote"s. These candidates walked along the edges of the road near the sidewalks shaking hands and talking to the crowd.

Later when the Democrat running for re-election for Congress joined by other Democrat candidates walked down the street, they were greeted by virtual silence. No boos, just mostly silence. My friend said it was unreal. The Dems walked the yellowline straight down the middle of the road. They had little or no connection with the crowd. My friend said Congressman Neal look very unhappy.

Just reporting in. Hmmm, something to think about as this is Massachusetts after all. This is an area that did go for Scott Brown but nevertheless this is former solid democrat territory. Maybe people are realizing that their Democrat party is not the current one.

G-d bless America!

People on FR have to get over the fact that Mass will never be a real RED state. However, keeping the hard core liberals out of power is never a bad thing.

It was Richie Neal? I was hoping it was McGovern.
