Police Chief: Border Violence Has Offically Crossed Over
KRGV ^ | October 4, 2010

Posted on 10/05/2010 12:18:43 PM PDT by La Lydia

BROWNSVILLE – Brownsville Police Chief Carlos Garcia says the border violence has officially crossed over into the Valley. Two Tamaulipas men were assassinated inside a truck Friday. The chief of police says the investigation has led them to believe this wasn’t a crime committed by someone in the US. “This was a hit ordered by the cartel,” he says. Cameron County Judge Carlos Cascos isn’t surprised to see spillover violence in Brownsville. He says, “it was a matter of time before it trickled down to our community.”

Residents say they didn't think it would become a reality. One woman who wanted to conceal her identity says witnessing a crime...could be very dangerous. "If an innocent family would have been passing by and seen that they would have been the next target," said one woman. She worries about future violence and is considering moving out of the Valley.

Cascos advises everyone to be cautious and more aware of their surroundings.

It is past time to call Obama’s bluff. the Governor of Texas should file an official request stating that there is imminent danger of invasion and under Article I Section 10 the State of Texas will take all appropriate steps to defend itself unless the Federal government effectively defends the border against invasion within 5 days.

That's an excellent idea in my estimation and I'd really like to see it happen!

With the election just weeks away, I think it would certainly galvanize support for Rick Perry. Anyone (including some Republicans who justifiably question Perry's Conservative credentials) would find it impossible to cast a ballot for Bill White.

SOLUTION: Landmine the borders.

Easy, effective, cost efficient.... sort of warming up to the idea.

Liberty and this nation succeeded because PROPERTY rights were the first and foremost protection. It will fail, as every nation who couldn’t/wouldn’t protect its borders, because that protection has been abandoned by ‘those in the know’ of both parties. From planting and burning our national forests and parks to squatting in people’s houses (this crappola happens along the border all the time! Ask Sue Krentz...oh, that’s right, she’s trying to stay alive because of this same invasion.)

This is Texas.

All that Governor “Rick” would have to say is “Help” and he could have 500,000 men who are already armed men who would go to the border. Drop of a hat. Line in the sand. All it would take.

Controlling it? That is another thing.

I’m glad you’re prepared. And what I said could actually happen. It is the very nature of the beast here, as you know.

Don't forget to ping the banglist.......

I would bet we could assemble one hell of a caravan!

(There seemed to be some kind of a border problem yesterday......what happened?)

a caravan!

Yes. It has been a long time since a serious border crossing was undertaken. Of course it is silly for the citizens to even think about this stuff when we have the folks at Ft. Hood and Dyes AFB who know how to do the job. There is this little problem of a Commander in Chief who intends to destroy the U.S. and the military.

Better approach, we will deal with him first. Remember, November is Coming. And that is the first wave.

Agreed. First the illegal in the white house, then, the illegals from across the border.

I couldn’t agree more with Fossil, but I’m still going to buy more ammo.

A few month ago the local LEO brought down 2 cartel safe houses within a couple of mile of my house. I’m locked and loaded. We will not be sheep.

I am truly stunned with the lack of attention the border is getting.

What will it take to get a serious reaction out of any state or federal government official?

Just curious. How many Americans have to die? 10? 100? 1000? 10,000? 100,000? How many?

I recently visited San Antonio and I think TX is gone. There are so many Mexicans there, I thought I was in Mexico.

The problem is that we are too kind to everyone. Latin America has got to be laughing their a$$ off at us.

In a town an hour or so from Dallas, I was told that when the law comes around, a girl in the court house warns all the illegals.

They work for your government, they teach your kids the pledge of allegiance to Mexico in spanish. What do we expect.

Try getting e-verify passed in your state. Run for state gov. if you can. A spontaneous decent on the border, by all you guys, would be impressive.

Its too bad all of this is on our border states, but it is.

from what I read the Texas law enforcement and otherwise military forces have already been preparing to do that.

The problem with this kind of invasion is we ain’t got no idea where they are or when they will hit us.

There simply ain’t enough men in Texas to protect the entire Texas border. It might surprise you to learn that cause of the winding and twisting of the Rio Grand River Texas has the bulk of the border with Mexico.

Worse still we can’t fence off the Rio grand cause thats a vital water supply for the area(its a desert!). Instead we MUST rely upon active defenses. This means 2 things:

1: Man power.

2: Texans in the border area must be hardy.

The one advantage we have In Texas is its a bit more difficult to cross a river then it is to simply walk across.
But at many times and points, the Rio Grande can run dry.

Texas can defend herself, but the enemy will not make it that easy, they will hit us and they will run back to Mexico and hide where we can’t chase em. In the old Days Texas would go after em anyway. (One of the Historic Rolls of the Texas Rangers) But that will get Texas into a lot of trouble in Washington today.
