Well, not too many people want to hear the wit and wisdom of Eliot Spitzer????

I don’t understand how he’s been “rehabilitated” from his scandalous departure from office, and is now going to be a talking head whom we’re supposed to have respect for.

Even worse for the new CNN program, it lost viewers from the show on just ahead of it, “John King USA,” which had 471,000 viewers. Perhaps more troubling for CNN, “Parker Spitzer” was down sharply from the show it replaced, “Rick’s List,” hosted by now-fired Rick Sanchez. And it even fell short of the show that had long occupied the 8 p.m. slot on CNN, with Campbell Brown.

Ms. Brown dropped out of the competition in May when she conceded she was not competitive with Fox and MSNBC. But she had been averaging over 500,000 viewers.

Actually a very good point.

When traveling I always leave the TV set turned on when I leave the room to eat dinner - always a channel with conversational voices - and typically most hotels don't carry FOX, so it's CNN - or nothing

I wonder how many people WILLINGLY watched Parker/Spitzer.

I would rate Spitzer as one of the top half dozen people upon just seeing them makes me queasy in the stomach.
