Faisal Shahzad had one last moment in the spotlight yesterday before being shipped off to a lifetime behind bars for his attempt to explode a car bomb in Times Square last May.
Not surprisingly, he took full advantage of his soapbox and captive audience.
"Brace yourselves," he warned, "because the war with Muslims has just begun. Consider me the first droplet of the flood that will follow. The defeat of the US is imminent and will happen in [the] near future."
First droplet?
Sorry, Faisal, but that war started on Sept. 11, 2001.
And most New Yorkers get it.
Still, Shahzad now will have a long time to pursue his perverse fantasies of America's demise.
While he rots away in prison.
"We are proud terrorists, and we will keep on terrorizing you," the Pakistani-born immigrant told Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum. "If I'm given 1,000 lives, I will sacrifice them all for the life of Allah."
Dream on, buddy. Better off dropping the visions of glory and start considering how truly tedious life on the slow boat to martyrdom is going to be.
Shahzad claimed that, in rigging a car with explosives in the heart of the theater district -- after receiving training and money from the Pakistani Taliban -- he was acting in accordance with the Koran, which "gives us the right to defend, and that's what I'm doing."

And I’ll bet there’s thousands more over here just like him. Good thing that he’ll be behind bars until he meets his “god”, but I personally won’t be happy until they’re all behind bars or sent back to where they come from.

Islam requires that its followers kill all non-believers. How is that possibly moderate?

I think radical islam beheads you. Moderate islam buries you in the ground up to your neck and then a crowd gathers around and throws stones at your head until you are dead.
The mask came off again. In it’s own way, reminiscent of O’s remark yesterday, on the occasion of the Seal falling off the podium: “All of you know who I am...but I’m sure there’s someone back there that’s really nervous right now.” No matter what the sufferers of political correctness say, or what the loathsome, fawning press say, jihad is a tenet/obligation of mohammedanism, and the latest King of Incompetence has just admitted his complicity. SORRY NY POST but the war started about 12 years prior to that when islam declared war on America by bombing the Marines in Lebanon and the USS Cole. America just refused to recognize it as the still refuse to recognize the real scope of the war now..

It's a strange world we live in.

These “moderate” people have gone to England and made a home, where they can bomb a train station or bus, and burn innocent people without repercussions.
