Obviously, the wife of any president has some influence, maybe even lots of influence, but there’s no way that she’s anything but a beneficiary of taxpayer failure to write adequate controls on government funding of executive vacations.

The list is ridiculous. Unless Forbes believes that Hussein is nothing more than a mouthpiece for Michelle, who is really calling the shots, she shouldn’t be in the top 50.
How could they rank her, Lady Gaga and Ellen Degnerate ahead of Pelosi? In a month maybe, but not she still is the Speaker of the House and 2nd in line for the Presidency (or is it 3rd? Joe Biden has me confused).
Also, how could they not give the same or consecutive ranks to the 3 female Supreme Court Justices? Sotomayor is more powerful than Kagan and Kagan is more powerful than Ginsburg? Are they giving her “Wise Latina” points?
