Dems blush as Krystal Ball sex pics hit the Net
STARR KESHET | Wed 6th Oct 2010, 11:17 pm
Krystal Ball, a Democratic candidate for Congress in Virginia, says she is both "embarrassed" and "angry" that a Republican blogger posted sexually explicit pictures of her on the Internet. Warning: Definitely NSFW.
The images - which were originally uploaded to a blog known as "Virginia Vertucon" - were later posted to a number of other sites, including Black Velvet Bruce Li and Gawker.
"It's sexist and it's wrong, regardless of political party, Ball said in an official statement quoted by Politico.
"I'm angry that when we are suffering from high unemployment, record budget deficits and a broken education system, that crass political operatives will resort to the politics of personal destruction when they can't talk about the issues."
Note: More explicit Krystal Ball pictures can be viewed here.
Well, not really that sexy, but on the other hand they hardly make her look like a credible candidate for congress.
And with a name like that, I’d think people would be embarrassed to vote for her. She ought to be running for Cheerleader or something like that.
Children, this is your education: what you post on the internet bites you back.
She seems to be a somewhat conservative DEem
Political positions
Ball believes small businesses are the backbone of the economy and that targeted tax breaks and incentives will help them get the economy moving again, along with renewing the tax cuts for the middle class. She supports stronger corporate accountability to prevent future bailouts by taxpayers being used to fund bonuses. She supports education reform (including charter schools, using technology, and alternative certification of teachers), the 2nd amendment (she is an NRA member), taking care of our military veterans, and protecting the Bay.[12]
Ball supports in fiscal responsibility and transparency in government spending requests. Her concern about the undue influence of any special interests extends to her own campaign refusing to accept corporate PAC money or any National Democratic Leadership money. She supports a lifetime ban on lobbying by former members of Congress, banning lobbyist gifts, increasing disclosure, and establishing a new Independent Ethics Commission to investigate and audit influence by special interests.[12]
She looks like the life of a dull party. Nice try, no dildo, I mean, cigar.
She’ll have her own show on CNN soon.
Oh, and Jackasses don’t blush.
Careful, a lot of Democrats are masquerading as conservatives this year. That’s all it is though, a mask.
I’m guessing this chick wishes she had one for these photos.
I’m asking myself, if similar pictures ever surfaced about Sarah Palin or Christine O’Donnell would even one Democrat object to them going viral on the internet? My guess is no.
Love it when the leftist get it back in spades.
Not guilty!
I am not buying it, I think this was a dem sympathy job.
There is not a doubt in my mind that somebody from this pig’s own campaign released those pictures.
And that's just one network's minimum coverage.
Well...it could be worse.
After all, those could be Joy Behar’s sex pics...
You should be ban for that. ;)
Only if I posted the photoshops (muahahaha!) ;-)
If they exist, you should patent them as "condom-free birth control".
If I had to judge this woman based on her name, she's gotta be a dingbat.
In all the articles I’ve seen about this (and I know personally the bloggers who put these pictures up), I’ve never seen anybody ask “where did the pictures originally come from”?
After all, these are old pictures. Somebody took these pictures, and somebody made them available to these republican bloggers. It had to be someone at the party. Did they put the pictures up on facebook or flickr, and then try to hide them when she ran for office?
The real lesson is, DON’T PUT EMBARRASING PICTURES of yourself on the internet for everybody to get. And if you do, don’t complain when people look at them.
