Finally, a Republican Candidate Fights Back Against Democratic Abortion Fear-Mongering.
It seems whenever a Democratic politician is on the ropes and has run out of arguments, they resort to trying to scare women with images of back-alley abortions. In Illinois' 8th district, Rep. Melissa Bean has done just that against her opponent Joe Walsh. In this video, Mr. Walsh responds.

I thought it was an excellent ad, indeed. But I hope he is reliably pro-life. It bothered me that he didn’t allow at least a few words to say something like . . . “We have all these problems that I’ve said, yet all you can think about it is giving women the chance to have free, unprotected sex and then kill their babies.”
I’m troubled because some people have been saying that we need to forget the social issues this year, and I really don’t think that’s true.
That was a perfect come-back. That’ll definitely leave a mark.

Unfortunately, Walsh is not a real pro-lifer. He ran in 1996 as a pro-choice candidate. He is an opportunistic con artist who can’t be counted on. HIs personal baggage, lies, and numerous pending lawsuits make him toxic to honest conservatives.
Joe should just tell Melissa to ‘walk away.’
