The Salesman - (Joey Bye Bye Biden - Unplugged)
The Atlantic Magazine ^ | October 2010 | Mark Bowden

Posted on 10/09/2010 6:58:02 AM PDT by atc23

. . .Biden and his boys gradually recovered and, over time, the young senator emerged as the most eligible bachelor in Washington. In 1974, when he was interviewed for The Washingtonian by Kitty Kelley, an early pioneer in the art of the embarrassing celebrity profile, Kelley clearly charmed her subject. Biden foolishly (and typically) took her into his confidence, speaking openly of his grief, and in startlingly intimate terms about his relationship with the departed Neilia. Biden described her as “my very best friend, my greatest ally, my sensuous lover.” The two of them had enjoyed a “sensational” marriage, sharing everything “from sex to sports.” He spoke of his ability to “satisfy her in bed” and, showing Kelley a picture of Neilia in a bikini, enthused that “she had the best body of any woman I ever saw. She looks better than a Playboy bunny, doesn’t she?” He spoke openly, needily, of his desire to meet the right woman and remarry: “I want to find a woman to adore me again.”

A not too flattering portrait (even by the liberal Atlantic standards)of the ego driven and hapless Vice President of the United States - Joey "Bye Bye" Biden.

Throw this article onto the enormous pile of evidence proving that the Obama Administration is a rudderless ghost ship. I cannot believe these people are actually in charge of anything more than the local five and dime.

Biden under the bus.
Yesm he is a dunce and should not have been VP, but why is all this stuff coming out now? Adds more fuel to the Hillary taking over rumors, I think.

. . . “I was talking to the president about this just the other day,” said David Axelrod, one of Obama’s senior advisers. “He was saying that choosing Joe was really the first presidential decision he made, and that as time goes on, he’s more and more convinced it may have been his best.” . . . (from the above article)

Smoke and Mirrors, Biden ain't going anywhere but into the book writing business when all this comes crashing down in 2012. Biden is the prototypical knuckle-dragging Neanderthal (read the article) and he'll never move over or face dismissal to make way for "Ole Crusty" - fugidabowdit.

At least the article got the story right about the death of Biden's first wife: "Neilia accidentally steered her car into the path of a truck in rural Delaware" which is more than Biden has done - Why Is Media Allowing Joe Biden to Lie About Drunk Driver Killing His First Wife?

Not for a lack of trying by the author. I feel dirty after reading half of that "suckupiness"(new word made up by me). I'm going to take a shower

You know, that VP quote on the first page really sums up the true Joe Biden. He thinks he’s so brilliant when he spews crap, then he thinks he’s just as smart when he has to explain it all away.

Principles? Core values? The truth? No big effin’ deal...

Right on. Biden, as well as Obama, Axlerod, Pelosi, etc -(most of our elected Congress) would rather climb a tree to tell a lie, than stand on the ground and tell the truth.

. . "The rumor about alcohol being involved by either party, especially the truck driver, is incorrect," said Jerome O. Herlihy, a Delaware Superior Court judge who was chief deputy attorney general and worked with crash investigators in 1972.

Joe Biden is a liar and a defamer.

Biden likes Earth women.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

All of the people who are so worried about Christine O'Donnell’s alleged eccentricities and personal qualifications need to closely examine the unremarkable standard set by her goofball predecessor. Biden would never have survived the kind of personal scrutiny Ms. O'Donnell is currently experiencing. And Delaware kept sending him back to the Senate.

I like how the article points out that Biden's godlike status in small potatoes Delaware (apologies to DE FReepers)-never transfered to the national stage.

No S#!T Sherlock!

If anyone believes Biden when he says he was flattered to be called “biteme” by McChrystal... well then I’m sure Biden could sell them pretty much anything, like that he’s got any intelligence at all. The man is a moron, a wannabe, plagiarist and all around dumbass. But useful in a pinch when he actually says what he thinks and let’s obama’s cats out of the bag.

It's times like these when I tend to think back on the media feeding frenzy when George HW Bush remarked on the scanner at the grocery store.

I think Biden must be computer illiterate. I am sure Biden has no clue that what he says and does can be verified by simple Google searches. I'm with you, no way was he "honored" to be called out by McChrystal for being a dimbass. I'd even go so far as to say it was Joey's sniveling that got the Gen. fired. The mocking probably took Biden right back to his stuttering days in Scranton.
