Murder on the Carbon Express: Interpol Takes On Emissions Fraud As carbon trading booms, fraudstersand copsare getting into the game.
While US climate legislation languishes, the rest of the world is already taking the next stepeducating police on how to keep criminals out of the global carbon markets.
In Lyon, France last month, undercover agents specializing in wildlife smuggling rubbed elbows with financial sleuths at a conference sponsored by INTERPOL intended to highlight the increasing complexity of environmental crimes and the tightening of environmental regulations in developing and developed countries.
"Governments should start preparing for an onslaught of environmental court cases," said Bakary Kante, head of the United Nations Environment Programme's environmental law division.

How can they tell what’s fraudulent in a system that’s fraudulent as a whole?
It’s not so much that they want to catch the scam artists - it’s more that they want to make sure and get their cut.
they make it all up in a report and give to Congress then its become LAW
I s’pose you’re right; transnational agencies are attracted to scams like flies are attracted to . . . . Well, you know . . . .
I guess this is why they are too busy to keep illegal aliens out of the country. (Yeah,I know. It's Europe. But Europe has problems with illegal immigration also.) IMHO, EVERYONE involved in "global carbon markets" is a criminal.
Aha! How could I miss that? It's another lawyer-emrichment scheme.
If there is to be honesty in environmentalism then government must not be involved.
Actually that goes for anything.

Isn’t the fact that the rest of the world is concerned about fraud in the global carbon market reason enough not to get involved? The author writes that “US climate legislation languishes” as if that is a bad thing. 20 years from now Mark S. is going to be thanking those of us who put a stop to the ponzi scheme known as “global warming”.
Well duuuhh!! The real criminals are the crooked politicians, fake scientists & economists who are pulling off the biggest con game in history on the entire world using the fake science of global warming/climate change!!
the idea is a tax on US airlines,
but not EU airlines
