A former extremist Muslim who once trained others to kill Jews and Christians defied his own possible death on Saturday night by charging the Quran’s reasoning as hopeless and its commands as hateful and immoral.
Muslims and non-Muslims risk death by speaking out against Islam, said Dr. Daniel Shayestah, a key leader in the Iranian Revolution of 1979. Yet he did, and also admonishes Christians to wake up and take a stand for their faith, based on the one true God of love and grace.
“It’s important to know Islam personally,” Shayestah told a group of about 120 people inside Christian Community Church in Vicksburg.
America’s weakness, he said, is that it continues to listen to the lies propagated by Muslims about their religion.
“They don’t understand Islam,” he said, calling Americans “fully ignorant.”
“Islam is not the Islam you learn in America,” Shayestah said. “There is not a single word of peace (in the Quran), yet they call Islam a peaceful religion.”
Shayestah referred to President Barack Obama as “blind,” saying he speaks of Islam more than he does Christianity.
And the Christians are losing ground on the fight.
“This is a great country,” he said, “but unfortunately, Christians are sleeping and are losing their country.”
“Day after day,” he added, “the evil politicians will take over if you do not wake up.”
Shayestah recited an array of verses from the Quran, which say Allah — whom Shayestah calls a manmade god — planned from the beginning to destroy all people in eternity, is the giver of pain, and brought man into the world in “toil and trouble.”
“Why should people follow Allah if he is the giver of pain and is not loving?” he asked.
In addition, he displayed verses from the Quran that encourage Muslims to lie to befriend non-Muslims until Muslims obtain power and rule.
The ends justify the means for Muslims following these commands, he said.
“Lying has become like drinking water in the Middle East,” he said.
He warned of Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the Muslim cleric behind the plans for the mosque at ground zero. He may seem peaceful now, he said, but what if he gets fully established and later says of his peaceful days, “Well, that was that time. Now it’s our time?” Shayestah asked.
In stark contrast, the Bible speaks of God creating humanity in His own image, capable of loving, being holy, just and righteous, Shayestah said.
“The Bible gives power to people,” he said.
While some verses in the Quran call Jesus the Christ and anointed one of God, the word of God, and the spirit of God, Muslims are taught to kill all — especially non-Muslims — who believe Jesus is the Son of God.
The Quran also teaches to kill all blacks, and for husbands to beat their wives. Women are clearly inferior, the Quran says, as Allah has only given enough to men to fulfill his purposes, Shayestah said. Women are forced to walk with their heads down, and be fully covered, and if they speak against the covering, they must be killed.
“I’m not here to encourage you to be angry,” Shayestah assured the crowd. “I’m here to encourage you to understand Islam.
“If you’re compassionate, you will pray for them. God may save some of them and bring them out of the darkness like He did for me.”
The reason why moderate Muslims are so silent about what the Quran really says, and about the actions of what the world calls “extremist” Muslims, is fear, Shayestah said.
Fear is “the gateway of Islam,” he said.
Muslims and non-Muslims are threatened and killed for speaking out, he said.
Shayestah has not been able to return to his country to see his mother for the past 23 years because of speaking against Islam.
But the fact is, he is threatened by Muslims in America, too.
“But I am not afraid,” he said. “Enough is enough.”
Through his organization, “Exodus from Darkness,” Shayestah travels the world sharing his testimony and exposing the heart of Islam compared to the truth and light of Christianity.
“If you’re afraid, Islam wins,” he said.
Shayestah’s life now is completely different from what it once was.
Raised a Muslim, he later became an extremist Islamic leader and teacher, helping to exile the king of Iran and put Ayatollah Khomeini in power, installing the Islamic Fundamentalist Government there about 30 years ago.
He and his wife trained people to go to Israel and kill Jews and Christians, he said.
That is every committed Muslim’s job, he said — to kill Jews and Christians. Hundreds of verses in the Quran demand it.
But he soon fell out of favor with his political group and was put in prison, waiting on death row with four of his friends. His friends were all killed, but he escaped.
“I’m here,” he said, “by the grace of God.”
He later fled to Turkey, where he came to know Christ.
Now he knows, the solution to all problems in the world, he said, is to “Love the Lord so dearly.”
Sharing verses from the Bible that speak of equality among all people and of God being love, he could not read them without pausing to gather himself emotionally and to thank the Lord for such great truths.
“Which one do you want to follow?” he asked the people — God or Allah?
As for him, he said, “My heart is full of the Lord Jesus. It’s an honor for me to die for Him. If I die for Him, millions of Muslims will come to Him.”

Makes one wonder why some blacks are muslim at all.
My wife is another example, A Palestinian that was raised in France, obviously didn't have much love for America, but by the Grace of G-D she let go of her hate and now we have been married for years now.

Imam Feisal Abdel Rauf claims that the U.S. constitution is Sharia compliant. Now let us examine below a few laws of Sharia to see how truthful Imam Rauf is:
1- Jihad, defined as “to war against non-Muslims to establish the religion,” is the duty of every Muslim and Muslim head of state (Caliph). Muslim Caliphs who refuse jihad are in violation of Sharia and unfit to rule.
2- A Caliph can hold office through seizure of power meaning through force.
3- A Caliph is exempt from being charged with serious crimes such as murder, adultery, robbery, theft, drinking and in some cases of rape.
4- A percentage of Zakat (charity money) must go towards jihad.
5- It is obligatory to obey the commands of the Caliph, even if he is unjust.
6- A caliph must be a Muslim, a non-slave and a male.
7- The Muslim public must remove the Caliph if he rejects Islam.
8- A Muslim who leaves Islam must be killed immediately.
9- A Muslim will be forgiven for murder of:
a) an apostate b) an adulterer c) a highway robber. Vigilante street justice and honor killing is acceptable.
10- A Muslim will not get the death penalty if he kills a non-Muslim, but will get it for killing a Muslim.
11- Sharia never abolished slavery, sexual slavery and highly regulates it. A master will not be punished for killing his slave.
12- Sharia dictates death by stoning, beheading, amputation of limbs, flogging even for crimes of sin such as adultery.
13- Non-Muslims are not equal to Muslims under the law. They must comply to Islamic law if they are to remain safe. They are forbidden to marry Muslim women, publicly display wine or pork, recite their scriptures or openly celebrate their religious holidays or funerals. They are forbidden from building new churches or building them higher than mosques. They may not enter a mosque without permission. A non-Muslim is no longer protected if he leads a Muslim away from Islam.
14- It is a crime for a non-Muslim to sell weapons to someone who will use them against Muslims. Non-Muslims cannot curse a Muslim, say anything derogatory about Allah, the Prophet, or Islam, or expose the weak points of Muslims. But Muslims can curse non-Muslims.
15- A non-Muslim cannot inherit from a Muslim.
16- Banks must be Sharia compliant and interest is not allowed.
17- No testimony in court is acceptable from people of low-level jobs, such as street sweepers or bathhouse attendants. Women in low level jobs such as professional funeral mourners cannot keep custody of their children in case of divorce.
18- A non-Muslim cannot rule — even over a non-Muslim minority.
19- Homosexuality is punishable by death.
20- There is no age limit for marriage of girls. The marriage contract can take place anytime after birth and can be consummated at age 8 or 9.
21- Rebelliousness on the part of the wife nullifies the husband’s obligation to support her, gives him permission to beat her and keep her from leaving the home.
22- Divorce is only in the hands of the husband and is as easy as saying: “I divorce you” and becomes effective even if the husband did not intend it.
23- There is no community property between husband and wife and the husband’s property does not automatically go to the wife after his death.
24- A woman inherits half what a man inherits.
25- A man has the right to have up to 4 wives and none of them have a right to divorce him — even if he is polygamous.
26- The dowry is given in exchange for the woman’s sexual organs.
27- A man is allowed to have sex with slave women and women captured in battle, and if the enslaved woman is married her marriage is annulled.
28- The testimony of a woman in court is half the value of a man.
29- A woman loses custody if she remarries.
30- To prove rape, a woman must have 4 male witnesses.
31- A rapist may only be required to pay the bride-money (dowry) without marrying the rape victim.
32- A Muslim woman must cover every inch of her body, which is considered “Awrah,” a sexual organ. Not all Sharia schools allow the face of a woman exposed.
33- A Muslim man is forgiven if he kills his wife at the time he caught her in the act of adultery. However, the opposite is not true for women, since the man “could be married to the woman he was caught with.”
34-It is obligatory for a Muslim to lie if the purpose is obligatory. That means that for the sake of abiding with Islam’s commandments, such as jihad, a Muslim is obliged to lie and should not have any feelings of guilt or shame associated with this kind of lying.
The above are clear-cut laws in Islam decided by great Imams after years of examination and interpretation of the Quran, Hadith and Mohammed’s life. Now let the learned Imam Rauf tell us: What part of the above is compliant with the U.S. Constitution?
