Republican Carl Paladino, a tea party candidate for governor of New York, said Monday on NBC's "Today" show that he doesn't discriminate against homosexuals. On Sunday, in a discussion of gay marriage at a meeting with Brooklyn Hasidic Jewish leaders, Paladino said children were being "brainwashed" into accepting homosexuality as "valid."

Add to that the costs to the healthcare system. Each AIDS patient costs upwards of $300,000 lifetime. We pay for that in increased insurance premiums. The government allocates many times more money for AIDS/HIV research than for any other disease.

If it is something to be proud of, you wouldn't need mantras about pride. Homosexuality is inherently perverted, and homosexuals instintively know this, no matter how many prades of pride they attend, or how many journals of opinion repeat the message of pride.
The question is what to do about the sad circumstance of homosexuality. Not whether it is or isn't sad.
Not true on the elementary level at the schools where I've taught over thirty years. To talk about sexual issues at all is really frowned upon unless it is the one time, one hour with the nurse for students in fifth grade. And that is done in a very discreet manner with no talk about homosexuality. But perhaps it is true for the middle and senior high school levels. (I plead ignorance there.) But I know that raising test scores is by far THE primary focus in the LA District and there is absolutely no patience for getting side-tracked on controversial topics.
There's a whole lot of Harley riders who didn't get the memo on this.

Paladino should have asked Cuomo whether he would walk around his house in one of those speedos or sparkly jockstraps in front of his kids, or bump-and-grind his wife in front of them.
I would have loved to hear that and then listen to Cuomo’s answer if he did so. Just the look on his face would have been priceless.

The funny thing is those same kids and liberals will outlaw all public smoking, even in private cars if children are present. Yet, they act like a unnatural sex act demands respect and glorification and "special" treatment which is so unconstitutional.
