He wants voters to focus on the truly important question before this historic midterm: Whether the Chamber of Commerce has properly segregated $100,000 in dues from foreign-member affiliates away from its $50 million advertising campaign.

There's no evidence that the Chamber hasn't acted in compliance with the law, but let's not let such trifling details get in the way of inflammatory innuendo. On "Face the Nation" over the weekend, Bob Schieffer asked Obama adviser David Axelrod if he had any evidence that the foreign money the Chamber gets is anything other than "peanuts"

Democrats and libs like to smear McCarthy, who revealed the communist influence in our country that prophetically would eventually pave the way for the election of Obama and socialism! The only one playing in the gutter is POTUS.
I think this is projection on the part of the Dems. Once Republicans are in a position to investigate, America is going to find out just how "foreign" this Obama guy really is.

Foreign money is a good thing to investigate. It’s like trying to selectively unravel the onion.
Postus’ campaign had millions come into it just under the bar and therefor uninvestigated.
The sums ended with strange $ and cents because they were exchange rates. I heard Rush drop this and it makes sense.
However, nothing that comes out will have effect on O or supporters of this. They will push the “D” .

The only thing wrong with equating his current tactics with McCarthy is that McCarthy was right.

I have met and spoken with people who laugh at the notion that W and Rove had a friendly book reading competition during their time in office. They have been convinced W is borderline illiterate.
There is going to be alot of diaper-wetting the night of Nov 2nd. I cannot wait to tune into CNN for the first time in years. DU ought to be a fun place to hang out too. And the moaning and flagellating over at Daily Kos should be a gas too. To finally repudiate them and all that they stand for, will truly be the highlight of the 21st American century.
That puerile element is precisely the target of the “foreign money” stories and the other smears which we’ve been hearing about lately.
I’m sure they’re sufficiently revved up to vote by now, so the Obamanoids would be well-advised to move on to something else. Such as making sure as much voter fraud as possible is being organized in key states and districts.
The dummies that the smears are actually aimed at couldn’t care less about something as trivial as “evidence.”
With them, everything is based on fear, envy, suspicion, and every other negative emotion known to man. Think “magnitude of the charges” from the Clarence Thomas hearing.
